You can have a fast defensive tentacool. It works, i have one. I dont dump anything into spD, since it gets 279 special defense at level 100 with no evs. Thats more then enough!
So i dump everything into speed, defense, and HP. I have tenta more of a utility. Toxic spikes, rapid spin, Barrier/HP Electric, Surf... All good stuff.

Nattorei = Overused. I see him way too much it gets annoying... Its fun to surprize

Timid is more viable. Having timid gets a guarnteed speed tie with all base 100 pokemon.

I liked it because ash was in peril haha. There was real danger! :) i guess my next favs were the leauge trials. Especially Pikachu vs Sparky, Charizard vs Zippo.

Out of the Pokemon allowed in the Battle Frontier, Lucario, Togekiss and Raikou (event only) get it. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina get it too, but they're banned there.

A few nights ago, I 3-0ed Thorton with Scyther in the lv. 50 bracket. I Swords Danced up to +6 Attack, with his Quagsire using Counter each time, and then OHKOed that and his Gliscor with Aerial Ace and Gardevoir with X-Scissor. Here's the set if you're interested:
-Swords Dance
-X-Scissor
-Aerial Ace
-Night Slash
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: BrightPowder
Ability: Technician

Neat, huh? I would've preferred Brick Break over Night Slash, though.

Back to platinum dood, it takes like double team so many tries to get it. The only pokemon good for double team is a frosslass in my opnion. In hail, with snow cloak, frosslass is only good for it. So in the end, it isnt viable to use it in battle tower, since NPC's are battling. The game has a smart AI, so the game might bypass the evasion.

Believe in the power of pikachu. It is very possible to sweep with a pika. Especially if it knows Nasty Plot. Ash doesnt know it yet, but pikachu is a really devious rat! :)

In the earlier tv series, i did not like misty. I thought she was just too stuck up. I find it funny Ash has been with three female protagonists lately, and he hasnt developed a thing for any of them! :3 He. Is. A. Kid.

I named mine Kitsune of course. Brock will always be my favorite character hands down. He is usually the sole voice of reason (most of the time) and the only adult in the group. Ash should ve around 16 right now, and Mist 18, Brock 20.

Ash is just too impulsive. If you have seen pokemon the first movie, he uses thunder on Golem and Rhyhorn! :p he goes like: "DUH! Pikachew use Tunderrr on Golem!" and of course, being the protagonist, it works. Depsite all in game mechanicks.
