    Honestly the reasoning shouldn't be that hard to figure out. If there were an IS thread about not luvdisc - pokemon exchanging (which there isn't lol) I'd guess the reasoning would be something like: We don't need popularity contests, and encouraging a Pokemon economy so-to-speak makes a lot more problems than it presents advantages. The wifi forum and trading should be friendly, not a contest to distribute the most mons.
