  • The first is most likely correct. The second implies that both PokeGen and the patched ROM are reading it wrong, which is not that likely, as both of them read everything else correctly.

    That is link trade then. Because they don't show as bred by Day-Care People, but by Link Trade. And it's EXACTLY those three you said. :P
    Yeah, because that's showing up in some of your mons. And no, it's not a PokeGen problem. There are some mons you're trading the eggs to hatch shiny in another .sav, aren't you?
    The beta version isn't complete, but I've been passing your .pkm files from your .sav to my .sav file and they show up fine, without any change at all. I highly recommend it over Pokesav, until Pokesav actually reads the hex values for 5th gen, at least.

    Btw, what's a Link Trade?
    I've been using PokeGen and had no problems so far. Bond informed me that what happened with Diabolico is actually pretty specific and hard to happen.

    And what do you mean, makes it hacked? What is changed?

    At Gen IV, bred Pokemon had the value "Met at Level" as seen in Pokesav as 0 (zero). Now, at Gen V, it seems that they fixed that, and it shows 1 (one).
    Btw, is it just me or now hatched eggs show as met at level 1, not 0 anymore, such as 4th gen?
