I'm probably going to update your battle with Athenodoros in a day or so (or today, depending on how much time I have). As for what you said about "Rests", I think that actually pertains to the actual move "Rest" and not an action labeled that way. Recover sits in the same category (which is why in the rules it says "2 Rests etc."). So no, I don't think that "Rest" is an action. So if you don't have the move Rest, I'm letting you change that action to something else.
