  • Well it's fairly simple. Here's how you find your SF:

    Step 1: Hit your seed
    Step 2: Chatter once
Step 3: Sweet Scent and catch the Pokémon
    Step 4: Check it's gender/ nature/ ability/ species
Step 5: Find a PID frame near your calculated initial PID frame which has the exact same characteristics

Now you know your SSF. If it's not near your calculated initial PID frame then you've hit the wrong seed. When you've found it in order to know the needed chatters do the following -> Target frame - SSF - 1 (because you chattered once to find your SSF). Hope that helps.
Yes but like Tesseraction's guide said. Your SF in a NPCless area will always be fairly consistent. It could be shifted however. Your SF might vary in both those places. Check your SSF (chattering once and catching the poke). Then re-calculate.
So when you are a second off you hit a different seed which contains an Elgyem for that seed. The other time you get a Litwick. So either this is your Timer0 fluctuation or you are actually hitting the right seed but your predicted necessary chatters is wrong. Have you checked wether it's characteristics matched those of a frame nearby your shiny frame?

Also you really have to verify wether you've hit your seed. I know it's a bit tougher since it's all in Japanese but you won't really have another way of checking wether you hit your seed apart from noticing the characteristics don't match up with a PID frame nearby.
Okay, how many different pokémon did you encounter while chattering the exact same amounts of time? It should be the exact same species/ gender etc. if you have chattered a consistent amount of time so we're close to pinpointing the problem I think.
You have tried it several times. You've done the exact same amount of advancements which means that you probably kept ending up with the exact same pokémon right? (gender, nature, species) Also did you check the IVs? You really need to know wether you hit your seed.

Btw, it is a frame 1 seed right? Or do you have to walk to advance the frame?
Btw, did you put your chatot's in a box? If you're chattering with their default call that's not going to advance the PID frame and putting them in the PC (both or one if you have one) will reset their call.
Oh, I forgot, you already know how to hit a shiny seed. Can I get all of you parameters + the full seed so I can check it for myself?

Verified that you hit your seed? The IVs matched with your IV frame?
(About your question in another topic) Do you already know how to abuse the PID frame then? If you've checked "look for nearby shiny" that doesn't mean that when you hit the seed you'll get the shiny, it means that that seed on that frame has a PID frame that has a shiny. You still have to advance the PID for it :P
I have some time now btw so I could teach you a bit ^^
The new rule was not to distribute things in giveaways via pkms, I think. I may be wrong though. In that case, I can just get it onto my game and hopefully trade it sometime this weekend.
Well I have one in the form of a pkm file, if you want it. Do you? You were a little unclear..
I believe I have a flawless shiny female chikorita, if you're still in need of one. Let me know.
I've now managed to get a shiny with the desired IV spread, gender, nature and ability (DW Eevee FTW!) twice and have finally (cough.. overcome my stubborness) learned how to find my SSF (which really isn't that hard but I was stubborn >.<). Maybe you could RNG two parents for the Pokémon that you want to have shiny. Will definitely help a lot and if you get one parent with the desired nature, giving it an everstone wil also help lots!

We can also find out why the IV spread you had didn't match with the shiny pokémon.
