First of all, since it will press buttons, the resolution problem won't be there.
I too used .ahk before for some of my needs.
As for the percentage thing, most of the things will use a savestate and thus there will be extra time as in a buffer.
If it goes faster then we have no problem.
If it goes slower then the buffer would manage it.

Hi, you might want to get help from someone with a machintosh, since there's a program that can look for adjacent non cgear seeds there, anyway I haven't been able to find my parameters for desmume yet but I think you should try with karlmee's config:
vcount should be changed to 0-80, timer0 needs to be changed to 700-8ff, gxstat stays at 6, vframe should be 0-19 and the seconds should be synched with an external clock.

Ah one more thing, are you planning to create Emerald save files? If that's so, you might want to wait for King_N to complete his task, you'll see :D

I suppose you know that if you many save files, you have better chances of hatching good eggs.
