  • Hello^^. I just got a decent celebi from the GTS. But it has invalid trash bytes... everything else is fine though, I think:

    Just came back with results:

    I received it in the same place in which it was when you gave me the save (facing right at the easternmost part of the Petalburg Pokémon Center, two steps south from the northernmost part), then I received another one at the opposite side, then I received another one on the same place, but at Oldale's Pokémon Center, and they both gave the same result:

    Jirachi - #385 (Serious): 7 / 23 / 10 / 1 / 11 / 27

    With a Salac Berry.

    I just loaded the file, I just haven't gotten around to testing it yet because I'm helping a friend. I'm also going to test different places of the same location to see if it helps.

    Thanks for the info! 2nd is more than good enough. The best I could find (so far) in this current version of RNG reporter was 19th egg, so thank you so much bud!

    Yeah, I've tested Muddy Water on Kyogre, and have been utterly unimpressed. Surf hits just as hard, while "barely" hurting most Rain partners (Palkia/Ludicolo/etc...) and it heals pokes like Toxicroak/Vaporeon/etc

    I "was" gonna put it on just to have something, but what did YOU have in mind?

    Yes, actually, I did. I took Wild Eep's advice (the message I forwarded to you) and waited a few extra seconds before closing the automatic appearance of the Journal, and got it within a few hours. Sorry to hear you still haven't gotten yours... maybe the strategy I used will work for you too.

    Thank you soooo much for pointing that out! It's not hard to ride the bike around a bit anyway to create an egg, and that makes perfect sense. PLUS I was literally just a moment ago asking myself "Geeeeez?! Why are all these coming out lonely?!?!?!" haha!

    Well, I'm using
    1) Check IV/EV
    2) "Hold R, walk a step = Egg" and
    3) "Quick Hatch"

    but those haven't been a problem in the past. I've used the "check IV/EV" code for all my HG RNGs so far, but this is the first time I've used either the "insta egg" or "quick egg hatch" (in HG). I've used them in Pearl and Plat before though. Would you suggest trying it without just for testings sake?
