Sorry for the double posting but I noticed something I missed earlier.

So I should be within the game before the first timer ended then restart. I always assumed it was go into the game when first timer ended. Well this might have been one of the many problems I had with 4th Gen RNG. Going to have to give this another go then.
Yes, it's so damn to my liking. Awesome, when you finished nicknaming it and tutoring Earth Power to it let me know. Trade me the Shellos in 4th gen and then you can get a DW Pichu or any two/three Pokemon of your choosing if you don't need the Pichu anymore.

As for my problem, I can't seem to hit the delay I'm aiming for despite using a two stage timer. Am I doing the process of hitting it wrong?
1. Enter the game from the main DS menu after the first timer end.
2. Hit continue after the second timer has ended.
