Maybe it was before when tools like RSEdecode and Enciclopedia Pokemon didn't exist...meh. I've done RNG breeds on a retail Emerald long before I've touched emulator abuse.

Well you're allowed to trade them still because the pokemon still has a legal PID/IV spread but you must disclose if you used that method or not (it's very similar to an AR code). I just don't like pokemon that have had that method used because you can't do that on a retail cart.

I know you could say that running the emulator at an accelerated rate isn't really legit either but at least the RAM wasn't touched.

Edit: It also annoys me how when that method was discovered independently by someone else a bunch of 3rd gen emulator RNGers basically told the guy not to release it because it would decrease the value of their pokemon. I think the fact that you're supposed to put "RAM hack used" would decrease the value far more IMO...

Well.... I really can't stay on here for a long time to wait for a reply because I have other things that I have to do and I'm having some major problems thanks to the strain in my thumb. Also, I have to give up most of my time playing video games, doing my favorite hobbies, and coming to forum websites in order for me to focus more on my creativity, art skills, animation, my priorities, and my goals. :(

57649 / 656 = 87
Slot 9 = 90 - 94

I've seen people like Canelo and Bitterlemon, and they both have a BCC Scyther with this spread. Sorry if I'm bothering you with all these questions. If I am, let me know ^^.

Oh, okay. It's just that here, Scyther is said to be slot 9.

So how would I find out a specific seed for a certain pokemon?

Well I've had a lot of people talk with me about problems they were having when RNGing stuff for me and I just got confused(Because I had no idea what they were talking about). I've started looking at the help guide for RNG in the Wi fi thread, but they said that if you don't know about seeds it will be confusing. Can you just start off with what are seeds and how they work?
