But you're saying there's a way to backup and restore saves to a retail GBA cart with only a slot 1 flashcard? Could you tell me? Then I wouldn't have to worry about getting the wrong trash bytes when I Pal Park since Desmume sometimes makes a mistake.

I can only get up to 740% speed, and that's only in an area w/o any music. 600% for other areas. I haven't tried wild pokemon in 3rd gen yet. I haven't thought about it. If I can get a slot 2 flashcart I may try it to get a Ditto with IVs in the right spots for breeding though.
