  • Yes I've tried everything. I deleted every .gba files and .sav and .sgm files on my VBA-RR and then put the rom of my retail cart emerald (J) using gba backup tool. Put it in VBA-RR and then loaded it up and then tried to create save states but it kept getting an error.
    Oh, and btw, I tried everything on my VBA-RR to be able to make a save states/save file for my English Emerald + Japanese Emerald, and it just won't work. I checked the internet for it and I think it's a problem with my Computer. If it's alright with you, could you abuse the SID for a Japanese Emerald Timid 31/31/31/31/31/31 shiny for me? There is nothing I can do about my computer D:
    It doesn't matter how much time you need. I'll also give you 10 credits in my shop. If you don't have the time or anything, oh well, I guess shiny 3rd Gen Pokemon aren't meant for me. =P
    Could you tell me how to use the gba backup tool to change the sav in my retail cart with the one I use in the emulator?

    I just figured that out, okay umm so I copied ur japanese lua thing on to text and changed it in to a lua file

    EDIT: Aww shit. When I load my japanese emerald rom on VBA-RR, it gets a white screen
    I'm really sorry but on my VBA, in tools, there is no RAM Watch
    There is OAM Viewer, Map Viewer, Memory Viewer, Palette Viewer, Tile Viewer, Disassemble..., logging..., IO viewer

    Could you please abuse the SID for a Japanese Emerald save file? I'd like to get a Timid 31/31/31/31/31/31 Japanese Shiny Mew (Like the one on your thread) the "hard" way. (My computer finally makes vba go about 600%) I will give you credits if you need/want them.
    Also, if you can't, it's okay, I don't blame you. We've met each other like 3 days ago.

    And if we don't know, what ID we are going to get, the SID will be worthless. And for those, who wonder about my ID 1, it was pure luck. It was the first ID I got, when I learnt SID abuse.
    ID is like Timer0. It is random. It is called "Entropy". Impossible even on emu.
    It's just like HGSS RNG, just hit two different delays. It's easy, if you breed on cart too.
    Hey, I'm not sure if you can help me but do you know any sites or information on how to RNG ID/SID in Emerald? And also, is it easy or hard?
