I was actually going to fly out to Phoenix if they actually hold an event there. xDSort of. I'd very much like to help, although I feel that the open metagame is so, so large that it's difficult to start anywhere. I think if you want you should post in the doubles GBU thread for advice; it's not the exact same thing, but there are a lot of people there that are willing to help and contribute info. If you don't feel like doing that I'll do what I can, maybe have a few battles with different teams and discuss them afterwards. I've written logs for ~14 GBU battles I've had in a book, so I could use one of them in that vein.
