Also if your not genre specific and love a great story try Infinite Space, it will not disappoint.

That game means so much to me, when it came out I was suffering from depression (the loss of my only true friend in school, he was stupid and got high/drunk and took his last joyride..) and that game helped me focus all of my emotions to help Neku. Agreed best game ever, best soundtrack. I like Calling and De ja vu
