  • Yea, but it looks so messed up in the first game evar!

My jigglypuff used sing! So cute!
Yea, but that move seems to be strong, wonder what it is? Also, do you think Jigglypuff looks cute? <3
Yea, and ZOMG, Bellsprout (lv.10) pwned a Geodude (21) and left a 1 HP on a Onix (22) with one move, but its in JPN, yea lemme try leveling the Arcanine.
Omg, you know those images I posted in the SQ/SR thread? Well, apparently my Charmeleon gre a level (28), instead of 28, it shows 2 JPN Symbols, wtf?
My calibration was four instances C7B, one instance C7C. I'm using a cart. I think I'll try the common ones anyway, or maybe change my ID of choice when searching and see if that does anything.
Since the time I forgot to enter Black Version (English) in its spot, I haven't forgotten to do it at all.

I really don't want to go through half the game to do my parameters again, and I can't trade to find them out without Wifi. I'm thinking the best thing is to randomly try Timer0s until I get one that matches. Is there a list of the different Timer0s a file can have? I don't understand the code for them so I can't figure out how many are between C60 and CA0 or what they all are called.
Oh, and I think those should generally be fine, Im just covering everything as best as I can.
No haven't started yet. The kids aren't here yet so I have some time to mess around. So I'm borrowing a friend's >MAC< (kill me now) xD!
I'm afraid not, but thank you for asking. I was actually sort of waiting for you to get on, but I'm not sure what we together could find. I think I must have messed up getting my Timer0.

See, when I was getting it, I was calibrating outside of Driftveil City. 4 out of 5 times I got a Pokemon with one set of IVs, but that Pokemon had three different seeds it could have derived from. So, to narrow it, I caught one again, traded it to another version, and leveled it up with rare candies until it was high-level enough to give a more discriminate result. Now, I don't think that has anything to do with it, but ... could it?
Odd is just unexpected stuff. The whole houndour/rhydon scenario I mentioned before is one. Another Java nidorina that I'm just not sure is right because its so far outside the pattern.
Yes. Because as we all know Paige, Mets is a name. OKAY. No. If you looked at my information, you would see that my name is a rare one. Brendan.(bren-din)
Certain Pokemon appear during morning + day, or night.
Usually what appears for morning or day will appear for morning and day. Then what appears for night stays during the night.

I've been babysitting these kids for months, they are like my adopted children :P
    Pretty much.

That's how to you achieve block Pokemon. You force them to be in an encounter slot of your choice.

Sort of, we have seeds that are already determined to be encounter slot 0-9. (On the website, if you type 'debug' into the search box, you'll see them) We just freeze the seed to the one with the desired encounter slot, encounter a Pokemon. The one that appears will be on that encounter slot.

Sweet, I won't be able to do too much today. As I'll be babysitting in about an hour and a half. So I'll resume thing tomorrow.
Hey, we haven't talked in a while! Hi, my name is (let's see if you know my name). Nice to meet you! (this sentence is made for people to say LOL!)
    Complicated?
    Just a tiny bit.
So let's just say we are abusing for a Houndoom.
We have a frame with an encounter slot of 2.
So we find what priority Houndoom is. Which it is Priority 7.
We need to have the first 2 slots filled with random junk Pokemon that have a lower priority than Houndoom.
So we have a choice of Girafarig, Shinx, Manetric, Smeagle/Stantler, Zigzagoon, and Ponyta.
Since the blocks required for Houndoom also get you Ponyta. You only need to fill in one more Pokemon of less priority. I just did Girafarig, which was like 3 plains objects.
So now Girafarig takes encounter slot 0, Ponyta at encounter slot 1, and Houndoom at encounter slot 2. Which is what we wanted. We now have a Houndoom with that spread.
Priority Pokemon just "take over" the encounter slots.

Priority Pokemon aren't limited to "set" encounter slots. They can be slot 0 through 9. So if you have all block Pokemon out, the priority list will be your encounter slot table.
Yeah, but once you find the encounter slot for that frame. You won't ever have to check it again. It will always be that Encounter slot for every area.
    Nonono xD!
Sorry I might have explained it badly.

You can't bother with RNG reporter for this. I don't know why OD added the Safari Zone feature as it isn't anywhere near correct. He might have added it just to have it in case someone did break it.

So if you got an encounter slot of 4 for that frame. Your Safari Zone encounter slot is 4. You can't correlate data with RNG reporter.
You'll just have to write down "frame ___ has an encounter slot of ____."
