  • Haha I always have to double check myself with this too. In HGSS sweet scent advances the frame by a number that is different in each game, but I think its usually 3 when surfing for most game carts. I never did the whole frame 1 thing and it always worked for me, so I would do 253. GL!

    So I was looking at Serebii's Pokearth and I figured out that:

    B1F = Floor B on the encounter slots
    B2F = Floor A or Floor C
    B3F = B3F
    1F = Floor A or Floor C

    Idk which one is A and which one is C, but those two look exactly the same so it shouldn't matter.

    Anyways, just go to one of those floors and surf, then save. Hit your seed, confirm it, advance 2 frames before your target, and sweet scent. It should be that simple. If you get 10 frames above then Idk :(

    Ok, so most likely sweet scent will advance by 2 on the water, but possibly 3 (Assume 2, though).

    Seafoam Islands or Whirl Islands? I hate those encounter slots, they should be more clear as to which area is A, B, C or whatever :P
    I can give you a male taillow with double-edge and pursuit on 4th gen. Can you use that? Can you teach it roost and steel wing and then shift it?

    oh, he's animating minisprites? Awesome, I'll probably ask for his permission to use them when he's done if you don't mind. I'm a fan of them too as you can see.

    oh yeah, just remembered:

    I saw you like using minisprites instead of the regular ones such as I found some shiny versions like this- [IMG] albeit they don't move.

    Just change the number in the address to the pokedex number and you'll get the shiny sprite. Ex. changing 151= mew to 1= bulbasaur
