Ah, yeah, had a look at that, but was still a bit confused. Didnt talk about "a leftovers" or or anything... I mean, I know thats the correct pronunciation, just sounds a bit strange. Eh, it's not really that important; shouldn't come up too much in the GP test.
Huge storm? We had a huge storm a while ago (Five or six days?) but yesterday was just a drizzle. I guess I missed out though :( I LOVE huge storms!

They indeed are, but you can just put a note next to those parts telling the author to change it. Most authors are smart enough not to replace it with something really stupid lol.

Learnt comma splice and semicolon. Which one should I learn? There's so many! I can't filter those with applications and those that are just fancy names. Why should anyone use semicolon when they can just use period? :/ let's assign chompchomp as our hw? :)

anyway, yeah, i'm really curious too about what exactly the marks are given for. the full mark is so much less than the number of changes i'd made -- then again many of my changes were entire-phrase-rewordings and optional/ pretty subjective.
@,@ crap. Meh... I NEVER used semicolons or dashes etc before -.- D: Any website where I can learn them quickly? I rmb there was grammar bytes or something... That one was awesome but I forgot what site it was... I hate using colons, semi colons, em dashes or whatever D: the school discourages us to use them at this age :/ sounds terrifying D:
