Hi, requesting my name changed to Steven718
The name I currently use is much more widely known now and I'd prefer it not associated with my content here. thank you.
ok - ante
Did I put the poison in your goblet? Or did I put the poison in my goblet, knowing you would switch them? Or did I know you would know I put the poison in my own goblet, believing you would switch them, and put the poison once again in your goblet?
There's really no way to know for sure...
It's not a "no you're wrong" arguement, logic would dictate that if you are intimidating scizor, you are switching into it, unless it's a revenge switch in, in which case scizor already killed something. Anything that has equal to or less defense capability of Mence and neutral defensive typing...
Now, if we were to keep this relevant to the discussion, the salamence switching in (which he would have to be doing in order to intimidate) would be 50% or less, so he would certainly be KO'd before having the chance to make even one move?
I was using 50%, but your calculations further prove...
if "really low" is less than 50% hp, then yes, half of OU is KO'd by scizor using a priority move when they are "really low" on hp. and alot of the things switching in take big time damage.
Yes, but it still means that Fire blast does not do 7% more "overall in the long run" because in situations where the opponent is either OHKO'd or weakened enough to be killed by flamethrower, flamethrower is the more efficient move. The calculation you give is based on an opponent that is KO'd...
This calculation is WRONG and only works in a situation in which your opponent is not KO'd by flamethrower. Not only that, 7% more damage does not equal 7% more KOs.
something interesting to note i think is fire blast only "better in the long run" when considering a pokemon being hit from 100% or rather that isn't going to be ko'd by either move when it's used. if a pokemon is weakened enough to be ko'd by flamethrower, at the time of the moves use...
Trio birds or the elves? If you are asking about the birds, I believe they only unlock AFTER you have the national dex. If you mean the elves, you have to encounter them to get the national dex, so if you can find someone to trade them to you, you could technically get your national dex before...
Yeah, people who have a generally good understanding of the game are going to excel regardless of the style, but I think calling what Vash said asinine is unfair - we are comparing a few threads on the topic of double battling to a virtual encyclopedia on singles strategy. Pokemon has had double...
I did a search and didn't see anything on this yet, basically you create a character, and the battles happen randomly, and as you level up you gain stats, weapons, pets etc. anyways
