  1. Max Raid Discussion Thread

Is RNG possible in Switch? At least for raid spawns. I just found out that spawns are fixed after every local reset. What I did: 1.) Save before last raid mon 2.) Finish the raid 3.) Check the new spawns 4.) Reset and repeat After resetting, the spawns remain the same. Not sure if this is...
  2. Max Raid Discussion Thread

I don't know but that's from my experience. Probably because it looks cool
  3. Max Raid Discussion Thread

5-star Ditto and Gigantamax Centiskorch raids fill up real quick damn. Does the number of stars affect IV? Also sometimes I see raids having a glowing yellow aura, what does that signify?
  4. Pokemon Bank Update - Gen 1 TMs?

The latter. Start with 178, use 8F, toss, and use 8F again
  5. Pokemon Bank Update - Gen 1 TMs?

Someone already made a guide for Red/Blue: https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/5q4meg/how_to_trick_pokebank_into_thinking_your_gen_1/ That includes a guide on how to transfer Mew as well. That way you'll get a Shiny 5IV Mew. I'll make one for Yellow soon.
  6. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

I haven't tested it yet, but theoretically, it should work. My method manipulates Gen 1 DVs individually, that way we can set DVs of any Pokemon to 10. I believe the Bank does not check the DVs of Mew for it to pass (correct me if I'm wrong), only the OT and Trainer ID. Thus, setting that Mew's...
  7. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Yeah, that's legit. Not to mention you can also make that Mew shiny with my method. Crazy crazy, will try it out soon The process is different. The item setup is quite similar, you only need 1 less X Accuracy (x133), but the party is entirely different. I'll try to make another video for...
  8. Pokemon Bank Update - Gen 1 TMs?

Hey guys, I found a way to manipulate DVs individually in Gen 1 to force shininess when transferring to Gen 7! As we all know already, Poke Bank uses DVs to determine shininess of Gen 1 Pokemon. If Speed, Special, Atk and Def DVs of a Gen 1 Pokemon are all equal to 10, it will be shiny when...

  10. SPOILERS! Pokemon Sun and Moon Demo Discussion

Man I wish I have a capture card... Holy moly that's crazy.
  11. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Well there goes my perfect DV glitch in Red and Yellow. Hyper training just made it useless for transfers... Not that I'm complaining though. Hyper Training's great overall.
  12. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Yes, WS M is harmless if you're not using it. Quite the opposite if you do use it. I haven't tried storing item stacks with more than x99 items on the box, but I think it will split the item stack into two, so it won't work. I could be wrong though. (too lazy to try it out myself :P)
  13. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

That never happened to me. Moving / storing WS M does not have any side effects if I'm not mistaken. Well, at least in my case. Do you have any item stack in your inventory with x255 items? If so, then I think you're unknowingly doing the item stack duplication glitch. I suggest you look it up...
  14. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

I didn't actually notice that until you gave me the tip. Yeah, I think Zowayix's explanation is correct. When I tried to check the stats of my trained and non-glitched lvl 96 Blastoise, there is also a noticeable lag. Although the lag is a bit shorter than the glitched ones, it's longer than the...
  15. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Yeah, that actually made my video worthless: Pokemon RBY: ALL Trainer Fly Glitch Locations I know I already linked that on my previous post, but whatever. I've already finished recording each part when I saw that infographic. So I still edited and uploaded it, would be a waste not to. After...
  16. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Hey guys, I know I should be making videos that are more useful, but whatever. This took me the longest time ever to make. Very good reference if you plan to do the Mew glitch. Also want to share this, could prove to be useful to original gameboy owners, but not so much for 3DS. However, if you...
  17. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Thanks, I'll edit that part. EDIT: Found a way to delete WS M: http://glitchcity.info/wiki/index.php/Item_stack_duplication_glitch I got the codes here: https://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure/weird/maxstats.htm 12 Gameshark codes are needed to get max stat exp and DVs. The first 10 are for...
  18. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Those skips are, well, if you just want to do the DV glitch as fast as possible. WS M allows you to do almost everything, get any item, catch any Pokemon, get x255 of any item, etc. Getting that early on will make things easier. We can skip Misty and SS Anne because we don't need Cut for the...
  19. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

Yes, you can skip the Master Ball actually, Great Balls work fine. Yes, Great Balls are better than Ultra Balls (assuming no status condition). 50% HP for both Geodude and Slowpoke almost ensures capture. If you want to be really really fast, you can also skip Misty, Erika and even Rock Tunnel...
  20. Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow to be re-released for the 3DS Virtual Console

This is exactly what I did. I got lvl 100 Nidoking before Brock and Thrashed my way through gym leaders. Just make sure you have enough Pokeballs (at least 8 maybe) and lower its HP to 33% to maximize catching chances. To get to 182-183 special, just repeat that. I agree Nidoking and Ivysaur...
