A double dancing set is completely redundant thanks to DD as by the time you could get both a swords dance and an agility off, you could just as easily use DD twice and get the same benefits with one more slot for a different move

Personally I use my klefki with TWave support for anybody too fast. But usually it isn't really needed. There are a few things that give you trouble, I've actually run in to a few scarf greninja's that have beaten me with ice beam. But I don't think that's too common (unless that's a thing now)

    Pokémon Sceptile

After testing it out a bit on the ladder, the Sub + 3 attacks has been the most effective set by far. SD sets lack power compared to other mons like DD CharX. Mega sceptile can force a lot of things out with its respectable speed tier prior to mega evolution and it's great Soecial Attack after...

    Pokémon Pinsir

Yeah, except, you know, mega pinsir can survive a hit. And has priority. Plus close combat. And doesn't use his Bug typing at all.
  5. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

Okay well what Pokemon would those be then? If they're fairly common then I could see your point, but otherwise it really doesn't mean anything because if you'll never commonly see them in a battle then it won't matter if they theoretically can stop you.
  6. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

Mega camerupt hits a lot harder with higher offensive stats along with Sheer Force and better STAB coverage
  7. Toad0234

    Pokémon Slowbro

It's easy to take down if you catch it early enough. It's scared by strong grass, electric, dark, ghost, and big type attacks. If it hasn't set up yet it's easily 2HKO'd. Slack off sets lose to toxic and resttalk sets can even just lose randomly if sleep talk screws them.

But then toxic can defeat him
  9. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

Hm...what has good synergy against rain teams with cam? I'd say Magnezone could be useful but you'd have to have something else to deal with earthquake.

If you're running Rotom-W anyways why not run skarmory as a bulky rocks and defog user?

    Anyone?
  12. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

What about breloom as a possible partner? It can check Rotom-W fairly well and can beat Greninja with Mach ounch if protean hasn't already activated (It still can if it uses dark pulse or ice beam too)
  13. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

Seems fair enough. Does the lack of HP allow any 2HKO's to turn into OHKO's or 3 to 2? Because if so I could see both spreads having equal viability rather than one superior spread
  14. Toad0234

    Pokémon Sceptile

Oh my mistake. Giga drain would still provide the recovery needed to beat mew 1 on 1 though, wouldn't it?
  15. Toad0234

    Pokémon Sceptile

I agree that A is likely the highest it will go due to his god awful defenses and lack of a special boosting move. Otherwise he does very well at his job. However the increased usage of ice type moves, mainly ice shard, is a huge hindrance to his effectiveness in the present meta game. So at the...

    Pokémon Sceptile

It can only use taunt when a sub is broken. And since sceptile out speeds, it'll always get the sub up before mew can prevent it.
  17. Toad0234

    Pokémon Sceptile

What set are you running? Just the standard sub + 3 attacks?
  18. Toad0234

    Pokémon Camerupt

That makes you much slower than mega bro, so how do you get the jump? EDIT: Nevermind I did the calf wrong. It lets you beat him by one point so I suppose that works.
  19. Toad0234

    Pokémon Slowbro

The only issue with that is that you can't slap those pokemon with a SE move since you should only be running oblivious on a setup set. Regenerator should be the only choice on an offensive set. But the RestTalk and Slack Off sets should also consider oblivious and taunt can completely cripple...

    Pokémon Sharpedo

Do you know how much pursuit does? You should switch out once you see scizor come in, so that's the only one that would actually hurt sharpedo specifically
