RNGing on Black/White 2, when you calibrate to find your timer0's, is it better to use the most common timer0 or is it better to use the entire range that you get?

I'm trying to RNG Genesect on Black 2, and the target frame is 76, but when I put it into the regular window and hit generate, the frame shows up at frame 74...mind you that if I don't check the "Black/White 2 ?" box in the main window, the frame goes back to 76, but aren't you supposed to hit...

I grabbed them off Pokecheck so I'm fairly certain on their IVs and even after checking them at the Nimbasa City judge, I got "outstanding" potential and "can't be better in that regard" so I'm not entirely sure what's up =\ I may try another seed (again) to see if I get a better result.

Perfect IVs for both parents, the father had an everstone (Nidoking with Naughty nature)

Gotcha, and since I'm breeding Nidorans, should I pay more attention to the Species column or the Gender percentage column? I checked the Nidoran box and the percentage boxes are all male, but the species box says Nidoran-F\Volbeat

When you say "use chatot pitches" is there a tool of some sort to help you (I vaguely remember seeing a link to something like that about 20-30 pages back), or are you just gonna have to play it by ear? In short, how does one identify "low" "mid" "high" pitches?

So, my next question is (now that I know NPCs mess up frames regardless) what's the best way to deal with NPCs and RNGing? I've never had to deal with this before so I'm new to it...do I just button mash and try to get into menus before NPCs have a chance to wreak havoc?

Trying to RNG Latios in the dream yard...anyone done this before? I noticed it forces you into the fight the first go around, so would it be best for me to save one step before the encounter and just chatter one frame or is there an easier way to do it?

calibrating my DSi, I remember the last time I RNGed, it was 2 seconds behind, so when entering the exact time for calibration should I just enter the one on the clock (seconds included, of course) or should I subtract the two seconds?
