Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

No problem. I'm fine with writing up another challenge, but I don't really know how X progresses, and I don't want to give you something that's too late in the game. You could do the same challenge with a Mightyena if that works. Otherwise, give me a couple of areas where you can catch pokemon...

Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

For restriction #1: Say Chance is a pidgey. Every time an opposing trainer uses a pidgey, pidgeotto, or pidgeot, or when you get into a wild battle with such a pokemon, Chance must immediately be switched in and must either knock out the opposing pokemon, or be knocked out. However, if one of...

Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

I remember a couple of Treadshot's challenges. The calibre is definitely different now than it was a couple of years ago. Feels like that was a golden age for the scramble challenge. For example, there's this gem:

Golden009, take a torchic as your starter. Name it whatever you want. Torchic has taken to heart fire safety, and wants to demonstrate it to the world. Fire: It must always know at least one fire move. However, that move must only be used when it would deal not very effective damage. When you...

Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Yes, each time you evolve you can forget one move, as the superior move for a previous evolution may not be the superior move for his new form -- but remember you need to meet the evolution requirements in order to evolve. If you like, I can lighten the evolution requirement to say that Superior...

If you think it's too difficult, I'm willing to reduce the difficulty a bit, that's not a problem.

Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

MrMoo, take Superior the Treeko as your starter. Superior may only ever use in battle the first four moves it learns, as forgetting a move in favour of another would mean that it had been using an inferior move. It must solo every fire and steel type that you encounter, because it wants to prove...

AOPS, take a geodude, name it whatever you like. This geodude is upset that it cannot be evolved into Golem without trading, so it refuses to evolve at all. Have it hold the everstone once you get it in order to facilitate this, and cancel all attempts at evolving. In order to compensate for...

Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Question: Should I interpret the attacking move restriction as "must have only two attacking moves, one dragon, one fire", or "can only know dragon and fire moves that can deal damage"? I assume I can replace any fire move with another fire move when I feel like it (and same for dragon).

Both are in. Depending on how long it takes to get a team together, I might end up starting with just 4 'mons.
