Wow, this is coming down to a close finish!

Also, now that the tournament is coming to a close, I would appreciate it if participants could give feedback about the system, and possibly share their teams. There is also a social group, which is linked to in the OP.

Great job Bloo! It was fun playing you, great games. Thanks Fire Blast for hosting. Here is the team I used for all my matches except the second final, when I made a new one (which I regret doing but didn't have the balls to reuse my other team).


Blast asked what I thought of the system so I'll post here so everyone can see my thoughts. I love DPP and it's my favorite generation and metagame. The Pokemon weren't all ranked according to how good they are in the tier, which made it very interesting. Heatran and Jirachi were nowhere in sight which was nice (or any Steel for that matter). Dragons were also gone, so it balanced out and didn't make a huge difference one way or the other. I never saw a Pokemon that cost more then 17 points (might have been 16, don't know and don't care anymore). Machamp is everywhere. Gyarados and Jolteon were also great picks. I liked how pkmn from other tiers were included as well. Teams weren't predictable (aside from Machamp) and vaired greatly. Overall I liked the idea and the metagame it provided, but I still prefer my normal DPP tier.
