No IV checking device, but I plugged everything into MetalKid's IV calculator and used rare candies up to level 13 and got this:

Timid #120 Staryu: 4 - 6 / 23 - 24 / 6 / 30 - 31 / 31 / 30 - 31

Then I bought a Hidden Power TM and got super effective hits with budew and silcoon, not very effective hits against magikarp, and a normal hit against starly (which rules out HP Ice) so I'm relatively sure it's HP Fire. Thanks to dr00 and with coaching from marc.z, I was able to narrow down the HP Fire value to be o/o/e/e/o/e, so I think that's right. :> I'll be checking the IVs again tomorrow with my extra DS again, but hopefully I've got it~

Funny thing is, I wasn't even RNG abusing ;A; Though I did set my clock to September 2nd, 2009 cause that's when a particular One Piece Chapter came out last year. I guess I was lucky. >_>

They're all legit, no altered IVs and EVs right? If you have so much stuff that you bred legitly yourself, why not make a trade thread too? It makes it much easier to 'CMT' instead of having to copypasta each time you visit someone's thread ;D

Eh, you have platinum right? You don't need to bother with that if you want to know your type. There's a guy in the game corner [of platinum] who tells you.

And I went and spent a fortune on coins for that Hidden Power too....bleh. I'd have needed it anyway if I wanted Hidden Power on my Staryu.

^That's the togepi from the giveaway. Sorry if I was presumptuous, it was just cause the one you listed had the exact same IVs and nature, harhar *_*; Out of curiosity, what's the OT number of yours?
 
Oh! My mistake, this particular pokémon was not bred by my friend. She just gave me some pokés and I assumed this one was hers as well. The OT is Emma and the ID is 18525. That the same one?

Oh, and cool. Yeah, I know what you mean, I like males better for that purpose as well.
 
Yup, I believe Tangerine's OT was Emma :> I'm about to get a few of the Pokemon from her giveaway tomorrow, so that's why I recognized the Togepi.
It's not a big deal, but people sometimes trade redistributables differently and want to know if something is redis, and since it was bred by Tangerine she should get credit for it :'D
