Honestly I think my Pokémon’s completely NAI, it doesn’t really fit well as mafia or town. But I suppose that makes it towny by extension since town is the norm and mafians are the exception.

I'll say that I'm getting the same vibe from Eagle but this is a townlean because it seems like over-compensating for RVS and trying to make progress more than anything else.

Towny people tend to let reads come natural mafia feel the urge of forcing a read because their reads are fundamentally unnatural and made up

Yeah I agree since the flavour was an afterthought anyway judging by the OP. That's why I can see value in a mass flavour claim since then we can get it done and out of the way early on and it can stop being brought up later.

Yeah tbh the lack of content from around 5/9 players makes asking for leads or substance quite optimistic.

I don’t really have any either. Tommy Eagle and Caffeine all are towny in tone but that’s pretty easy to fake and uhhh that’s my entire view on the thread rn.

Nuxl can you confirm if scum were provided with safeclaims or not? They presumably were, but if they weren't then it suddenly becomes a much townier play (with the caveat that Chansey is a really likely candidate for the doc's flavour if we have one so it could be baiting a counterclaim). If they were then it probably becomes slightly scummier, hoping that we assume they weren't given safes.

i guess what i'm saying is that the pokemon you're given doesn't rly correlate with the role/alliance you have (or uhh maybe that's just me), so Chansey isn't obvtown regardless of whether there's a safeclaim or not. but t-ballz clamining chansey could be because they *think* it looks like an obvtown?

which if i think about it actually doesn't indicate alliance at all for t-ballz, because they could be a townie going 'sweet i'm chansey' or a maf going 'sweet i'm chansey'. Basically I trust t-ballz is chansey, i don't trust chansey is necessarily town-aligned

which is all a round-about way of saying this is a dead end

Trying to flavor meta is bad for the soul. But I would give tbz very little townie points for his random flavor claim at this stage of the game.
