Welcome to 1v1 Classic VIII, the premier Old Gens 1v1 Individual Tournament of 2024. In this tournament, players will compete in five single-elimination cups in SS 1v1, SM 1v1, ORAS 1v1, BW 1v1, and DPP 1v1 to stake their claim to the eight spots in the tournament's playoffs based on their results in each of the aforementioned cups, and will compete for a trophy in the 1v1 Hall of Fame.
I will now announce the starting dates and the hosts of each of the cups. Each cup will have a week of sign ups before the games begin.

Replays for every game played will be required from Round 2 of each cup. Failure to provide replays will result in your win being voided.
I will be the person running the 1v1 Classic VIII spreadsheet and will also be the host of playoffs. The playoffs points calculation is changed from last year and will drop the lowest cup for each player. The points structure for each cup is also changed and is as follows.
