Rules:

On Deadline & Match Completion
All players must complete their matches by Sunday, February 23rd at 11:59pm -5. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S VM WALL); otherwise, the game will be dead. NO Extensions will be granted.

On Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and at least one of lost heros , Heika , bea. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up.
Managers, when you send in lineups, please send it in with the tier and Smogon username of each player fully written out for ease of transcription.



All games are Bo5 unless written otherwise.

ORAS 1v1: SEROO vs cakeezz swag edition (seroo had a good wc pool and has quietly gone 1-4 in the tier since then with the only win coming from oras+team tour crow crumbs. I know nothing about this swag edition fella and the gogoats oras has looked very poor outside of cakeeezz's win over torterra so I'll call it a tossup)
BW 1v1: Opchurtle100 vs ZackPalace (sificon showed up for one week, won, and got immediately benched. doug hasn't done that well and I'm not expecting a rout here but I think it'd more likely go this way)
DPP 1v1: Jamez vs Call me PK (gut feeling)
ADV 1v1: Eeveekid10 vs Blanched (for the record I don't think blanched is a particularly talented adv player but he is good at pokemon and a fast learner so I think he should start getting wins here soon. I'm an eeveekid believer but I'd rather mr moose win)
DPP 1v1: jhm5 vs stravench (which of these two teams could possibly consider picking dpp as a flex slot when the players here are a combined 1-5? this feels like a poor management decision)
SS 1v1: Bomb21XD vs recti (recti is unfortunately exactly the sort of player that won't cteam bomb and loses as a result)

after looking at the ss flex records I'm realizing gogoats chose ss flex (which I think was not good, they got bailed by tenzhii not being able to play and I think should've double subbed adv), but I can't understand why nido's would pick dpp into stravench instead of sm or another oras or something. even if strav is having a bad tour they can't exploit it as well with jhm5 as they could with like jamez into felu/pk in any fairygen while getting the exact same matchup in the required dpp slot
