Concerning Substitutions: At any point in time during the week, a team may make a substitution for an inactive player. In order to do this, a manager must post in the thread, tagging the hosts, the opposing managers and the opposing player stating which player is substituting out, and which player is substituting in. A player that has substituted out for a week cannot be substituted back in. In addition, in order to catch any attempts at garnering favorable matchups (where the lineup you choose affects pairings), all substitutions are subject to veto by the hosts if the substitution is suspected to be attempting to “game” the system.

Monopoke additionally does not count for Weekly Standings, its purely a for-fun slot. I'll update the players for slots when they get chosen, for those without players immediately.

SS Bo7: Here Comes Team Charm! vs tears - (HL) tears has been on some transcendental shit for the past month and it's been working. Charm's best hopes here imo are gonna be building some really solid teams and hoping that they can learn to pick against tears's nonsense.

SS Bo5: Aliss vs Yami - (HL) SS Yami may seem like a meme, but they've had some big wins, even beating Denis in another tour. Tryhard Yami is also a whole different kind of threat. Alice on the other hand has been faltering a bit as of late. Granted, she's been in a relatively safe position to screw around so that might not mean all too much. I'm feeling this one will come down to who has the stronger prep, to which I feel the Porygons have the stronger builder core.

SS Bo5: not a racist vs smely socks - Just a gut feeling. not a racist has done decently well for himself thus far, however, smely is still a very solid player. While smely has previously struggled to perform in high pressure scenarios, he managed to play this week with his team being one win away from playoffs and won! Unless it turned out to be a fluke, I think smely's got the edge here, as long as he keeps up that winning composure and doesn't let the pressure get to him.

SM Bo5: TheShadowClaw vs Downcoming3 - (HL) If this were three weeks earlier, I would've just said tsc flattens dc3 here, though the recent nutty, janky, swanky nonsense that she's been running as of late tells me this'll be an interesting watch. That said, it's hard not to bold tsc here, especially since he's been running janky swanky for much longer.

SM Bo5: Lancer Fr vs Grain2Sel - Ah, the french. G2S has been hitting a bit of a rut. His series have still been rather close, even lost by hax at times, though he still carries on. Lancer on the other hand has always been a pretty consistently solid player, and has shown with his season of PL that he's still got it, even after all the time he's spent away from 1v1. Anything's possible in this series, but my gut's leaning Lancer.

ORAS Bo5: Joker 1v1 vs Finchinator - (HL) They meet again. I've been liking what I've seen from Finch, especially that subtle jab at the Slakings in trying to beat them with their own mascot. For someone new to ORAS and faced with not the easiest pool of opponents, he's been doing shockingly well. Definitely big props to whoever's been helping him prep. With that said, his opponent is no one to scoff at. Joke may have a worse record thus far, but he took Finch to g5 despite having basically a dead slot in every game. If Joker doesn't screw around this time, this definitely looks to be favored for him, in my opinion.

BW Bo5: eblurb vs Potatochan - (HL) You know potatochan is itching for vengeance after the last time they played. With the last series, they've both shown that they're capable of out-matchupping one another, which means a lot of this may very well boil down to picks, which I feel eblurb has the edge in. That said, though, a strong surprise factor in building on both sides could really take this series in any direction.

DPP Bo5: 187 Fan vs Jamez - James looking to go from one brother to another. While he's pulled off some very impressive wins as of late, his opponent is coming in with the better record, which includes wins against the same opponents. Overall, I feel Fan's the more consistently solid player, while James is a bit more of a wildcard, capable of both getting insane wins and also getting flattened. Anything can happen here, but my gut's leaning Jamez, since he's got a more experienced support core around him, in addition to being an experienced DPP himself.

SS Monopoke Bo5: 413X vs Aurodian - No, Alex, I will not be joining US East over hosting the tour-



SS Bo7: Tricking vs Mishlef - Mish has been wavering a bit these past few weeks while I feel Tricking's been doing overall solid the entire time. Anything is possible of course in SS, though I'm feeling that Mishlef's best shot at winning here is getting weird with building and going for the surprise factor, since I don't think going head-to-head is gonna work well for him here.

SS Bo5: DenisTheMenace vs Close - (HL) Now this has potential to be one of the biggest matches of the year. Both have been doing about even during the main PL season, so momentum isn't really in favor of either side here. If it were just Denis vs just Close, I'd be leaning Close, since he's more privy to building, though given the team support on each side, Denis definitely recoups some better odds. I really don't wanna bold someone here since I feel this is about as 50/50 as 50/50 gets, but the laws of predicts force me to.

SS Bo5: abd1710 vs Urfgurgle - While abd initially went undrafted this tour, with this being his debut series, the man's run amok in Seasonal. Urf's gotten some decent wins and this is still SS, so anything's possible, but definitely don't underestimate abd.

SM Bo5: Freddy Kyogre vs Jabiru - Given the season these two have had, I'm sure Jabiru will somehow be able to get haxed out of hitting a 100% accurate move. If they're playing straight, I would give the edge to Jabiru, but at this point, I'm almost anticipating it's more likely something dumb happens again.

SM Bo5: Satanic Beast vs Kentari - Even though Edgar's had a good bit of luck of his own as well, Kent's a harder opponent to pull one over against. In general, a tryharding Kentari is a scary opponent while I don't know if I've seen Edgar try before.

ORAS Bo5: DezShizzels vs XSTATIC COLD - I can only imagine the team supply must be running low for Dez. Both building and picks favor XSC tremendously here, so by all means he should win as long as his ego doesn't cloud his judgment. That said, anything's still possible in ORAS, but I'm feeling Dez is gonna need to pull out some real heat in order to get one over XSC.

BW Bo5: STABLE vs Palestine - This one's a toughie. Both are very solid players in their own right. Both also have exploitable weaknesses that aren't exactly easy to pick up on through replays alone. Anything can happen here, but I'm feeling the person with the edge is the person who is more adventurous and knowledgeable in building, which is Stable. However, a lot really banks on how much time he can actually put forth towards prepping for Palestine, in addition to the swath of his teammates he also has to help out in prepping. If he falls behind, I would actually favor Palestine here.

DPP Bo5: zio vs Trashuny - While zio did beat a very solid opponent last week, I wasn't entirely impressed. If euph had just played standard, he would've won, which is why I'm feeling Trashuny has the edge here. That said, though, he effectively got 3-0'd by Fan and then didn't appear at all last week, so momentum may very well favor zio here.

SM Bo5: Lancer Fr vs Grain2Sel (65-35) - i dont really know what to say here, lancer has been performing better than g2sel this tour and i rate lancer highly as a player in general so bop
ORAS Bo5: Joker 1v1 vs Finchinator (40-60) - 6-1 Finchinator has been picking well with the goatatochan oras teams (DO NOT FORGET ABOUT DIANCIE!!!!) but these two had a close series last time so I think Joker (no magikarp form) will make it close
BW Bo5: eblurb vs Potatochan (51-49) - insert monkey fight gif here, im gonna favor eblurb even though this bum has went like 0-9 the past three weeks even though i got favorable rng in one of the games, the blurb won last time and I think that his monkey tendencies will triumph over potato once again

SS Bo5: abd1710 vs Urfgurgle (55-45) - been doing great in ssnl and has good ss support. urfgurgles also good but i favor abd here by virtue of the army
SM Bo5: Freddy Kyogre vs Jabiru (45-55) - both of these players have done well, jabiru doing the world tour of 1v1 tiers this tour finds himself back in sm and i think he will win here unless the match up fisher that is radu in sm hits repeatedly
SM Bo5: Satanic Beast vs Kentari (51-49) - edgars been goated this tour but he goes against another goat in kentari, i really dont know what'll happen but i'll bold edgar bc hes cute i guess idk. i think these sm mus are huge for both teams to win and they both are close so it'll be exciting
ORAS Bo5: DezShizzels vs XSTATIC COLD (40-60) - xsc has been on a killing spree after starting 0-2 and i dont think it'll stop here unless the mexican cteams, dez also completing the reverse close/kaif character arc ROF
BW Bo5: STABLE vs Palestine (60-40) - raduoat is better at picking than palestine but deg is a really good bw builder so i can see palestine winning especially if radu just brings his usual stuff
DPP Bo5: zio vs Trashuny (51-49) - this dude trashuny actually blessed by allah this dude always lucks his opponent in dpp god damn, i think zio is better and he has a good grasp of dpp even though hes only played one tour series because this tier is easy af to build/play l0l but hes also unlucky so :neutral_face:
