IPF had failed to meet up on the time that was agreed upon despite said time having been pushed an hour back. Horrors were also unable to provide a sub which would be able to play within the 30 minutes after the managers had been notified of their player's absence.

Result: Activity for Rellia
 
Reports have been received regarding the usage of VPNs by some of our players while matches were occurring. Normally, using a VPN would cause your account to be locked, however, we have still decided to enforce a rule of No VPN when playing your matches, and should you suspect your opponent is using a VPN you are allowed to ask for an IP check of your opponent (this would be done by Global Staff on PS!). If your opponent asks for you to get off a VPN, your options are to either comply with the request or provide a sub for the match. If you were to play a match while using a VPN and you win, this game would be voided. Keep in mind that this will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Upon completing a thorough investigation involving high ranking PS Global Staff and a Smogon Super Moderator, it has come to light that thesecondbest has been using IP addresses that clearly fluctuate back and forth between Eastern and Western US for both his PS activities and posts on Smogon. With no indication that these are proxied or VPNs, this has been determined to be a pretty clear case of account sharing. Moreover, the IPs for thesecondbest's PS activity and corresponding win posts on Smogon in the recent weeks have been different from the IPs with which he signed up for the tournament with, which is the clearest indicator that these are different people both using the same account.

Since there really isn't much experience with cases like this in 1v1 nor clear precedent from broader smogon, we communicated our findings with multiple Smogon Tournament Directors in order to gauge how they would handle a situation like this occurring in tournaments they have jurisdiction over.

Result: thesecondbest will be banned from 1v1 tournaments for a year, and all of his wins in this tournament will be nullified and marked as deadgames.
