Here are the matchups for Week 10. The captain of each team will be tagged for convenience.

Grand Finals Set 1

Whaleeeee, Lancer Fr, Squirtell 1v1 (W) vs AllFourtyOne, UnleashOurPassion, Macemaster (L)

- 2v2 Lancer Fr vs AllFourtyOne

Explaining the Grand Finals Reset

Because Squirtell 1v1, Lancer Fr, and Whaleeeee have not dropped into loser's bracket, they still need to lose twice to be eliminated. In grand finals, AllFourtyOne, UnleashOurPassion, and Macemaster will have to beat them twice, while not losing once, since they are coming from the loser's bracket. If Squirtell, Lancer Fr, and Whaleeeee lose, the deadline will be extended a full week, and both teams will be given the opportunity to declare new variable slots to their opponent and send me a new roster.

Please use the following process for your matches.

Captains contact the opposing captain, and declare your chosen variable slot.
Create your roster, and send it to me. Each player must be assigned to exactly one tier.
I will update this post with the matchups, and players will be free to begin scheduling.

You have until Tuesday the 16th at 11:59 EDT to declare your variable slot to the opposing captain, and players have until Sunday the 21st at 11:59 EDT to play their matches. Failing to contact the opposing captain will result in an activity win for your opponent.

Whaleeeeee's team is winning 3-0. Their squad has a combined record of 14-1 which is insane. Don't see how they could lose, especially since they would have to lose twice in a row.

we have reached the final, after rounds of people misclicking, getting haxed, just not performing we have the finale grande. So what will happen?
well this is how it will end up

- SM Bo7 Squirtell vs MaceMaster- Squirtell is undefeated and Mace has 1 L in this, coming to Squirtell in the last winners round, the winners finals and I dont expect it to end differently this time... unless there is a US Central Confidence deal somewhere but idt 1v1 would be subject to biased playing for opponent to win.
-Team VGs pick: last time they picked BW, and I think they will do that again, so BW: Whaleeee vs VG-VG has been playing well in BW (at least the few games I actually watched, so about just the series vs me and like one more), but I expect Whaleeee will just beat him up
- (confirmed to be, not really a prediction) 2v2:(Prediction part starts here of 2v2) Lancer vs UnleashOurPassion- Undefeated in 2v2 meets 2v2 Head in a rematch series for the ages... or so we would think if we just read UOP as head of 2v2 and didnt consider it was him (sorry not sorry) we land in that Lancer ends up 6-0.


So Team VGs Pick was ORAS with UOP taking that and VG playing 2v2 vs Lancer, I still think Whaleeee and Lancer wins but its at least going to be closer

SMBo7: Squirtell vs MaceMaster Squirtell is in the best form I have seen him ever in. Furthermore he has not lost once in this tour. It still will not be easy for him, because Mace is still a respectable oppponent and it will be hard for him.
ORAS: Whaleeeee vs UnleashOurPassion Whaleee is one of the best oras Players imo. And UOP seems not that consistent in the last weeks. And I do not see why they would pick ORAS.
2v2: Lancer vs VG Jungle Lancer is one of the best (if not the best) 2v2 Doubles Players atm. He did not lost once and won´t lose in the Grand finals.

6-0. My score is incredibly favourable, I have no words to explain what I feel now. 2v2 is a fabulous that deserves to be developed, it connects a lot of things with 1v1 which has allowed me to progress quickly. As I said earlier, I played doubles like Doubles OU, giving me super effective fighting mechanisms. It's a real shame that it's not part of the world cup that's coming up soon.

I would like to thank Whaleeeee and Squirtell 1v1 who were exemplary teammates. From the beginning to the end we had very strong ties that allowed us to ensure our victories.

S/o to the greatest teammates Lancer and Squirtell! Honestly didn't think we'd do so well this tour, but here we are. Had a ton of fun playing some tiers i never normally would. 10/10, would team up with these two again.

Congratulations to my teammates Whaleeeee and Squirtell 1v1. You are absolutely incredible as a teammate, I have never had such good teammates in a tournament pokemon haha mdr. Thanks to Whaleeeee at the beginning who asked me to team up with him as we fought together during 1v1 PL and we know how to work together. Then we decided to recruit Squirtell which is for me one of the best players currently in sm. Whaleeeee is an extremely good captain, Asia has a lot to have with the world cup coming soon, he knows how to lead a team and keep a positive energy within the team, see in the proof we are the winners. Every time I asked him something, he always agreed with me and never went against what I said. As for squirtell, I don't know how you managed to progress so fast and be among the best strategists in 1v1 but you have all my respect. I believed in you from the beginning and I wasn't wrong, I'm very happy to have teamed up with you, you are fabulous. In any case for me, it's a flawless one, it's not to brag but I'm extremely proud of myself and my games by being undefeated, I've already prepared well in advance before the leader already established who we should play against. I knew I made the right choice by playing 2v2 which is for me a community that deserves to be developed under the best conditions.

Very fun tour! I'm glad I got to team up with Whaleeeee and Lancer who did extremely well. Whaleeeee did great with a 5-1 record while being the "sacrifice slot" every week. Lancer did amazing playing 2v2 every week with a 6-0 record. With me going 5-1 in sm, we had an overall 16-2 record, which is amazing. Thank you Boat (phiwings99) for hosting this tour.
