On Deadline & Match Completion
All players must complete their matches by Sunday 14th of April 23:59 PM EST. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S VM WALL); otherwise, the game will be dead. NO Extensions will be granted.

On Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and myself. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up.

Dom vs Elo Bandit- personal hl for me, both lost their amazing unbeaten run last week, and will be looking to bounce back. If this was sm I could see bandit winning this but dom has too much oras knowledge I feel. Definitely not something Bandit isn't capable of, has potential to win, but will not be easy.(55:45)
Close vs cp2: One God vs another, Close has made me regret not bidding him higher when he was already in my backup bidlist- beating other beasts like uop and landon. On the other side you have cp2, who already gave ggopw a run for his streak last week. Surely one to be entertaining, and not one to miss. Going to make a hard call and say cp2 ending this streak (45:55)
Osra vs omroom: Om has shown he's proficient in oras, but the power of milk will reign supreme, milk lady taking this.(70:30)

Wailjesus vs uop: Another person I was planning to splash and steal if Moto went cheaper, wailjesus has also made me feel sad in retrospect. Someone who only barely missed out on 1v1lt tour, wail has finally gotten the opportunity to showcase his worth this tour, going unbeaten. And then you have UOP doing UOP things. Hmm idk tough call. Landon vs lancermk: Rounding off this week is Landon vs lancer. Both strong players who haven't had a good tour, it will be interesting to see how this goes.With not much skill difference between them, If it was a ladder tour lancer would win. However I feel Landon is the better tour player, and will bring the W to the pl winning team. (60:40)

SM: XSTATIC COLD vs BigPimpin12 (65-35) Bimp has shown he has great potential in his last matches but against a solid player like xsc it's gonna be hard to hold up
SM: Baleblaze vs SilvioGiovanna After choking and throwing away an easy 3-0 against xsc in ssnl it's gonna be hard to say if I'm gonna be able to beat Baleblaze, it's all down to if I have learned from those mistakes or I'm gonna repeat them again
ORAS: alive vs Whaleeeee (40-60) alive has only gotten one win in the last weeks (getting benched last week) while whale has been playing consistently well during the entire pl. alive is a good player but he needs to get back on his toes for this one.
ORAS: Joker 1v1 vs roman (70-30) roman has yet to show if he is up to the task of playing in pl, while Joker demostrated this a bunch of times already
*BW: ima vs ayedan (45-55) ima is one of the few 4-0 people in the pl, but ayedan also shows a great 3-1 record. He has shown consistent plays and also has a goat like Tony backing him up for team support. He might be the one bringing ima's luck to an end
*DPP: TogliBabineBoeuf vs TonyFlygon (40-60) 27k reeee. Tony has suffered criticism week 1 for losing against Hijasu, but he's back on his feet and 3-1, it's gonna be hard for Togli to win this one
2v2 Doubles: motogp vs Kowasabii (30-70) kowasabii beat the goat Knuckstrike last week so there's no way he's losing to moto

SM Bo7: Iron Crusher vs Freddy Kyogre (45-55) IC hasn't won a single pl match yet, but Freddy has only won against Blazikin (who's 0-4, so not in top shape), so this is all up to bets
SM: Chickenpie2 vs Close (30-70) cp2 is not really in his top shape, being 1-2 and subbed once, while Close has shown great consistency with a 3-1 score, so he's got the win
SM: AllFourtyOne vs Jytcampbell (40-60) AllFourtyOne has lost his first match and got subbed for the other 3, while Jyt's 2-2 shows he knows what heìs doing
ORAS: Tom842 vs Ferno (55-45) both good players but they didn't really bring results this pl, giving this to Tom because he had less chances to show what he can do
*ORAS: Osra vs OM room (40-60) rosa is a very scary adversary for anyone, but OM room might be just the right person to deal with her, we'll see
BW: SolarflareRo vs sed (65-35) solar has shown he is capable, even getting a win in bo7 against a goat like SoulWind. I won't negate that sed is a good player, but he has to bring out his A game and show his true colors to beat him
DPP: Hijasu vs neomon (55-45) very tight matchup, they are both good players that have been kinda struggling this pl. Hijasu did get a win against Tony tho, which gives him a heads up
2v2 Doubles: Kaif vs Poison Adhesive (40-60) Kaif's trashtalk hasn't been backed up by many 2v2 wins except one against roman (who's 0-2 and benched), while PA has shown some good plays. The only thing I hope to see Kaif do, is playing a good game without having to get toxic at his opponent.


RPS Rhyperiors (4) vs Pixilated Porygons (4)

*SM Bo7: WailJesus vs UnleashOurPassion (45-55) WailJesus is the second rarity who's gone this far while being 4-0, but UOP has a respectable 2-2 (barely losing to xsc w1). Wail's simple playstyle is backed up by very well built teams, but UOP might be able to pick up some exploitable weaknesses and use those at his advantage.
SM: TheShadowClaw vs Eriey (60-40) not very much to say here, TSC has been playing consistently well, holding a 3-1 score, while Eriey has shown some up and downs while still mantaining 2 wins. It's gonna be interesting (play seasonals you fucks I need some info to base my predicts off of)
SM: akaFila vs MaceMaster (45-55) both great players with a very good 3-1 score, it's gonna be interesting, but Mace's vast teambuilding knowledge will come in handy when facing aka.
ORAS: Cynara vs Shyom (65-35) Cynara has shown consistent play, while Shyom has yet to fill us in with any interesting wins (or matches, at least)
ORAS: Sage vs Arifeen (55-45) Sage has won week 1 against Raj, but has been going downhill since then. Arifeen, on the other hand, has yet to win a single game, so this is on Sage
BW: martha vs Wanonymous1616 (60-40) martha has lost last week against ayedan, but I believe she'll get back on her feet and make a comeback
DPP: GL Volkner vs Magma (25-75) GL Volkner only played a single time to this day and lost it, bold of ALlCE to make him play against an adversary as strong as Magma
2v2 Doubles: Knuckstrike vs Pigeons (45-55) Here it is, two goats on the line. Pigeons has surprised ever since he's been drafted for 10k, and Knuckstrike has surprised by losing 3-0 to a first-time entry in 2v2. His luck-based choices might be his demise or his salvation, we'll see.

SM: ggopw vs Boat (phiwings99) (65-35) Boat has great potential but this is gonna be a hard one on him, going against a 4-0 player.
*ORAS: dom vs Elo Bandit (45-55) I must say, I didn't expect Bandit to be 10-0 after the first three weeks, and I think nobody else did. Mace already put him in place last week, but this does not mean he's done showing. This is gonna be a tough one for both of them, but Elo's great teambuilding skill might give him the upperhand here
ORAS: Endal vs skysolo14 (35-65) it's a good thing that the pluffs are using their lead to showcase new players, but skysolo has been performing exceptionally with a 2-0, so it's gonna be hard to break him
BW: SoulWind vs Chaitanya (55-45) SoulWind has shown the big plays, only losing last week to Solar, but Chaitanya means business so this is a match to savour
DPP: CrashinBoomBang vs The Mushy Potato (65-35) Potato's debut is gonna be a hard one going against a goat like CBB
2v2 Doubles: RuffletMuffler vs Huston (60-40) Huston is yet to win a single game in this pl, while Rufflet already beat 2 people in 2v2, it's not gonna be an easy one on Huston to hold his name high

What an interesting week. Top 4 matched against bottom 4. AND our 6th place trio need to win if they even want a chance at play offs.

Let's make some educated predicts

Heatrans vs Escargots

SM Bo7: UBERLandon21 vs Lancer Fr (55)- (45)
Week 1 this would've been a solid 65 - 35 landon, but he's been having a rough patch over the past few weeks. Now Lancer is not on a hot streak by any means, but he's also no slouch. Both players are 1-3 and have lost against WailJesus and Close, but this will also be Lancer's first time in Bo7 which may be good and may be awful. Really big highlight match imo.

SM: XSTATIC COLD vs BigPimpin12 (65) - (35)
XStatic Cold's been a consistent top tier ladder player, but this has really been his debut into the tournament scene, and it's working ok. He simultaneously boasts a 2-2 record against some solid opponents. Bimp! also has a 2-2 record, but his opponents have been a bit easier. He certainly can put up a good fight, but idk how good that will do.

SM: Baleblaze vs SilvioGiovanna (75) - (25)
Baleblaze, as both a player and a manager, has been having a great run. Currently undefeated 3-0 with wins against top tier players. SilvioGiovanna is coming off the bench for his debut SM main tier match, but honestly he doesn't stand much of a chance.

ORAS: alive vs Whaleeeee (40) - (60)
Alive is a really good player. Currently 1-2 with against a mixed bag of players, which is really not indicative of anything. Whaleeeee on the other hand has been on fire. He's 3-1, with that loss being to dom, and wins against good/great players, and a cult following across the 1v1 room; everything is really looking up Whaleeee. This match will surely be exciting.

ORAS: Joker 1v1 vs roman (70) - (30)
Joker 1v1 is doing better than he gives himself credit for. He's 2-2 overall and 1-1 in ORAS, and can definitely play with the best of them. Roman on the other hand hasn't touched ORAS this tour and I really don't know much about them.

BW: ima vs ayedan (60) - (40)
Ima is currently the BW king. 4-0 with wins against BW cup winner Wanony and other solid players. Ayedan also has been making big strides in BW. Boasting a 3-1 against arguably easier opponents, but nonetheless good ones. Another highlight match coming out of this series.

DPP: TogliBabineBoeuf vs TonyFlygon (55) - (45)
Really tough predict. Togli is currently 3-1 in DPP against the best of them, but so is TonyFlygon. Both players had significant placement in Classic. I think overally Togli might take the series, but it'll be interesting.

2v2 Doubles: motogp vs Kowasabii (40) - (60)
Kowasabii is the breakout star of 2v2. Coming off hot with the 3-0 win against Fireeee last week is really good for their debut 2v2 week. Motogp on the other hand has had some tough opponents in the 2v2 category and is holding on to a 1-2 record in the format. Overall I think Kowsabii's got this.

Things aren't looking good for our snail friends. While it's definitely plausible for them to get three wins, it'll be tough to get that fourth one. And even harder to get that 5th. Nonetheless, I'm not counting them out yet. Some of their losses are pretty close. A surprise Pazza sub might change this, but I couldn't tell you in which way.

Panchams vs MegaRays

SM Bo7: Iron Crusher vs Freddy Kyogre (40) - (60)
What a match. Both players have been having a very not good tour despite being big names. IC is 0 - 3 in SM with no appearances in Bo7 yet, which may help him. Freddy is 1-3 exclusively in Bo7 against some really tough opponents. Overall I think Freddy is the the better player here and will take the win

SM: Chickenpie2 vs Close (35) - (65)
CP2's 1-2 record betrays him, with losses against Mace and Ggopw it's hard. He's a better player than the record says, but unfortunately he's up against Close. Close has been killing it this tour. 4-0 against Landon, UOP, and Lancer. Will his hotstreak come to an end? I don't think so here.

SM: AllFourtyOne vs Jytcampbell (55) - (45)
Hard match to predict. Neither has made a good tour performance so far, but VG Jungle I think is the better player.

ORAS: Tom842 vs Ferno (40) - (60)
This'll mark Tom's first entrance into ORAS this tour, and while Ferno has some losses under his belt in the tier I think Ferno will still make it out with a win.

ORAS: Osra vs OM room (65) - (35)
OM room has been doing really well in ORAS with a nice 2-1 record and a win over XStatic Cold. But Osra is osra. 2-0 in ORAS with one of those against Dom is nothing to scoff at. An upset is definitely in the range of possibility, but I think Osra has a solid victory here.

BW: SolarflareRo vs sed (65) - (35)
SolarflareRo is a doing well in BW currently. He's got a 2-1 record with a win over Ayedan. Sed on the other hand has had a tough two weeks with Ayedan and Ima back to back. It'll be a tough one again, but I think SolarflareRo.

DPP: Hijasu vs neomon (55) - (45)
A really tough one to call. Both are clearly good players, and they seem to be evenly matched. Hijasu is 1-2 (not counting act) with a win against TonyFlygon but losses to CBB and James. Neomon is 1-2 (not counting act) with a win against Xayah but losses to CBB and Togli. Hijasu I think will take the win but it'll be interesting.

Another fairly evenly matched game. Kaif is 1-2 against a mixed bag of players in 2v2 and PA is 2-2 against similar players. I think overall PA is the better 2v2 player, but it can swing either way.

Playful Panchams (4) vs Metroboomin Megarays (4)
A really even pairing in my opinion. Panchams can certainly push a 5-3 for the win, but MRays can as well. There are a few close matches and a few favored for one side. Out of our bottom 3, the Megarays have the best chance of staying alive.

Jumpluffs vs Articunos

SM Bo7: ryyjyywyy vs Jamez155 (60) - (40)
Both players are making a return to SM this week after covering some older gens fairly well for their respective teams. Jamez has a good win against XStatic Cold, but Ryy is a strong player and will be tough to win against. An upset is possible, but I don't think it'll happen

SM: ShuckleDeath vs Squirtell 1v1 (?) - (55-75)
ShuckleDeath's debut match will probably lose against Squirtell. Despite his 1-3 record, Squirtell is a strong player with some rough matches.

SM: ggopw vs Boat (phiwings99) (65) - (35)
Ggopw is looking to keep his undefeated record and will probably. Boat(!) will probably put up a good fight, but it'll be hard to win.

ORAS: dom vs Elo Bandit (55) - (45)
A real highlight highlight match. Elo bandit's had a great tournament so far, not dropping a single match until last week. Dom has also had a great tour. Despite a rough loss against Osra last week Dom will still probably win if his ego doesn't get in the way. It can go either way really.

ORAS: Endal vs skysolo14 (?) - (55 - 65)
The second debut match from the jumpluff's side likely relying on Dom's old teams. But skysolo isn't a player to scoff with a 2-0 record and a win against WhalemanCheng. I think he'll win.

BW: SoulWind vs Chaitanya (60) - (40)
Soulwind is doing well overall in the tour with only 1 game in BW. Chaitnaya isn't doing as well but we'll see I guess.

DPP: CrashinBoomBang vs The Mushy Potato (60-75) - (?)
CBB has been doing extremely well in DPP with a 2-0 record against Hijasu and Neomon, while it's the Mushy Potato's debut match in a tier I don't think they've played before.

2v2 Doubles: RuffletMuffler vs Huston (60) - (40)
RuffletMuffler has a solid 1-0 2v2 record against Fireeee which is an accomplishment in it's own right. Huston on the other hand has yet to play 2v2 in the tournament, but has been building and playing it religiously with anyone who will. Maybe it'll all pay off?

Juuling Jumpluffs (6) vs Frozen Articunos (2)
Articunos are in the same boat as the escargot's. Getting the third win is definitely plausible. Getting the 4th? A lot more difficult. Getting that needed 5th? Extremely difficult. But they can do it. A couple subs on the Jumpluffs side could change this but I'm not sure if they would.

I won't be predicting my own team because we're going 8-0, plus even if Rhyperiors lose they still have a chance to make playoffs.

This'll mark Tom's first entrance into ORAS this tour, and while Ferno has some losses under his belt in the tier I think Ferno will still make it out with a win.
