Rumours of Mourinho planning to sell Lukaku to finance a move for Costa/Falcao/Cavani have been going around. I'd prefer tempting Atletico with a money offer + Courtois than parting with Lukaku because unlike Cech, as a goalkeeper, we do not possess a world class striker.

tbh, he isn't. Not better than Eto'o, that is for sure and too inconsistent to be better than Torres. He's probably better than Ba, though.

All in all, he is very overrated. Got good quickness and strength but his first touch is cancerous.
 
With seemingly every striker linked with Chelsea I just want them to go all out and buy Ibra, even at 32 he would rip the league to pieces.

The only thing Torres is consistent at is doing nothing and missing chances. Lukaku's link up play might not be as good as his but he's a hard worker and a much better finisher of chances ( tbf though, even my middle aged mother is a better finisher than Torres ). Mourinho must have read my post coz he followed my advice and relegated Torres to the bench and things have been going quite well so far.

right ok after the beatiful pass by Hazard at the end of the game, which Torres decided to shoot straight at the keeper like a mug, I have decided that Torres is worse than Jonathan Walters
 
my god Galatasaray were so bad. Chelsea were playing at 60% and walked over them.

SuperScizor why this match lol just look back at the match against Aston Villa. He had 5 shots inside the box. Non on target.

The Quarterfinals is going to be totally different cookie.
Lets see if Mourinho can work up some magic.


You guys are talking about Lukaku as if he is in his prime. He is 20 and he technique will improve as he gets older.


Btw Drogba was an okay striker. Drogba's 157 in 341 games wasn't spectacular as people make it out to be. He was a big game player but chelsea need a consistent striker like Costa.

Both teams that went through today were unconvincing.
United were fortunate that Olympiacos left their shooting boots in greece.

Dortmund just couldn't hold onto the ball in part to how much better Zenit were but still was very poor from a runner up last year.
 
Dortmund are shit this year. They will pretty sure lose in semis unless they play United.

Mikhiwhatever didn't meet the expectations at all and they really miss Götze and Gündogan. Hummels being injured for a while didn't help either. This summer's transfer window will be crucial. Maybe Klopp will be able to build another competetive team or they will also lose Hummels, Reus and Gündogan soon and they will fall back on Leverkusen's and Schalke's level.
 
Dortmund were shit today, but they were lucky that Zenit was shittier in game one. I hope on BVB v PSG, and that Zlatan plays shit and Lewa scores 7.
