National Dex Seasonals:

National Dex Seasonals are a best-of-3 double-elimination tournament. There will be a Seasonal to play in the Winter, Spring, and Fall.

National Dex Majors:

National Dex Majors is a tournament that is divided into 2 stages. The first stage is a round-robin format in pools. Every pool will be headed by a pools leader. The player with the best record in their pool will move on to the second stage, which is just a simple single-elimination tournament.

National Dex Ladder Tournament:

The National Dex Ladder Tournament is a tournament that is divided into 2 stages. The first stage consists of laddering. Every cycle, players will get to signup and ladder to the top. The 8 players with the best record of a cycle will qualify for the second stage. The second stage is a simple single-elimination tournament.

National Dex Grand Slam:

The National Dex Grand Slam is a two stage tournament. In the first stage, players can signup for the National Dex Monotype, Anything Goes, and UU open tournaments. In these single elimination tournaments, players will earn points to compete in the second stage. The 16 people with the most points will compete in the second stage, which is a single elimination tournament.

The points gained for Opens will count both towards the National Dex Circuit Playoffs and Grand Slam Playoffs. They are counted seperately.

Note: Dates may change if we are running ahead or behind of the schedule.

Quick little update - the timings of the National Dex Ladder Tournament and Grand Slam will be swapped. This is to avoid overlap between NDLT and the Official Ladder Tournament. As such, signups for both the National Dex Monotype and National Dex Anything Goes Open will go live on June 28th, with the signups for the National Dex UU Open following one week later, on July 5. Grand Slam Playoffs will go live August 9th as well. The National Dex Ladder Tournament will have its first cycle on August 1st, and will have a new cycle each week until the final cycle on August 22nd. Ladder Tournament Playoffs will be posted on the 29th of August. Cheers!

One other update: The National Dex Ladder Tournament scheduled to start August 1st originally had the top 4 players of each cycle qualify for a 16-man playoffs, but has since been expanded to have the top 8 players of each cycle qualify for a 32-man playoffs. Hope you look forward to it!
