2022 BDSP Tournament Circuit​

Welcome to the 2022 BDSP Tournament Circuit! This circuit will have players compete in a variety of of tournaments to gain points and ultimately face off against each other in the Tournament Circuit playoffs! Without further ado, here is our 2022 schedule:

Tournament Details

Points

The points system is included in this sheet, as well as the current standings.

Seasonals

Seasonals are a best-of-3, double-elimination tournament. There will be a Seasonal to play in the Winter and Summer.

Grand Slam

Grand Slam is a two-stage tournament. In the first stage, players can sign up for BDSP UU, RU, and Monotype tournaments; these are best-of-3, single-elimination tournaments where players earn points to compete in the second stage. The 8 players with the most points will compete in the second stage, which is a seeded single-elimination tournament. The points gained for Opens will count towards both the Circuit Championship and Grand Slam Playoffs. They are counted separately.

Ladder Tournament

The Ladder Tournament is divided into two stages. The first stage consists of 4 cycles of laddering, where players get to sign up and ladder to the top; the top 8 players from each cycle will progress into the second stage. The second stage is a seeded single-elimination tournament.

Last Chance

The Last Chance tournament is a Type B, best-of-3, single elimination tournament, and it is pretty self-explanatory: It allows players to have one last chance to qualify for the Circuit Playoffs.

We have decided to change the BDSP Ubers Open to the BDSP RU Open; the latter currently has a more active playerbase and has more hype around it currently. Sorry for those this inconveniences, and congrats to the RU players!
