Voting on samples happens here. The Viability Rankings Council will be voting on samples every six months (subject to change). Each time, the slate will be fully cleared, and they will only be voting on the current samples, new submissions, and old submissions that were one or two votes away from passing. All other sample submissions will be archived.

Team Name: Scarf Regidrago + LO Talonflame

Team Description: The popular core from SS 2v2 returns again but with new adjustments. The biggest standout is Choice Scarf on Regidrago, as this allows it to more freely pair with its other partners without relying heavily on Tailwind, giving it positive matchups into common cores such as Gouging Fire paired with Chien Pao or Ogerpon-Wellspring, as well as Archaludon Rain. However, Tailwind can still be useful for the mirror matchup and other faster threats like Iron Bundle or other Tailwind-boosted Pokemon. Talonflame is a decent Tailwind setter, but paired with Life Orb is able to get strong OHKOs into non-bulky Flutter Mane, Ogerpons and steels like Metagross. It also has the valuable Quick Guard, which is very handy against Fake Out users as this team lacks Protect outside of Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Quick Guard can also be useful versus opposing Talonflame. Ogerpon-Wellspring glues the team together by having the very useful Follow Me, and acts as a strong supportive Pokemon that can still dish out meaningful damage. Landorus-Therian rounds out the team with Intimidate support and patching up matchups like Psyspam and Corviknight Raging Bolt cores, while in itself being a good partner with its aforementioned partners. Landorus-Therian's set is quite explanatory, with Assault Vest helping it live hits from Hoopa-Unbound and OHKOing it with U-turn, and Smack Down hitting flying and bug types while grounding Pokemon like Corviknight. Earthquake is great for redirection Pokemon like Indeedee-F and gives spread damage like Regidrago, and the second ground move helps it not hit its partner while still doing good damage.
Usage Tips: Any of these Pokemon can be brought together and work effectively, but that means careful consideration of the opponent's team. For example, if you wish to bring Regidrago you should be wary of priority attacks, faster Pokemon or other hinderances, or if you bring Landorus-Therian you should be aware of Earthquake potentially hitting your partners; thus good meta knowledge on commonly brought sets is vital to this team's success.
