I knew I was ready to sweat this tour going into it before the cash prize was even part of it. I was honestly really itching for another tour that looked fun enough for me to sink my teeth into as a manager. With that being said, I wanted to tryhard exclusively on my own terms, leading to my choice to stunt signup with someone who only willingly created a smogon account to show off a bigvivor W.

I think in retrospect it's easy to see that this was a little narcissistic. I hadn't played 2v2 in a few years and only really touched oras when I did. It obviously worked out and by playoffs I was effectively supporting all 6 slots by myself, which is an achievement that I'm proud of. But also y'know, even then I passed some bogus matchups to medeia in finals and trace in finals tb when things really counted. I'm not gonna attempt something like this again but god it was fun. This teamcord was also one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of being in. Don't think anything will replicate the feeling I got watching my entire chat lock in to talk about big brother while Treb was playing his season on the line finals match LMFAO.

camryn thanks for comanaging with me! obv you're in on the useless co-manager gag but honestly recruiting a positive player and popping in to chat occasionally was all i really needed. midtour I realized some funny parallels with the way I signed us up for this tour & I think you must have too when you first agreed.

Treble Clefable You were actually the most fire pickup of the tour. I still don't even know what you play/where you learned mons but after that hour of friendlies you got cracked asf and just never let up. Was also rly fun just chatting with you and I hope our paths cross again next big merge or smth.

DripLegend afk -> ragebench -> best record in the tour HOW does he do it? Anyway yeah you're one of my best friends on here & there is simply not much to say atp. I think this is the only time we've teamed and both done well though yay.

trace Honestly my dream player as a manager, it's an enormous asset to have a player that I can drop 20 minute old teams on without explaining a thing, knowing that he will always find the best lines - sometimes not even immediately obvious to me. I genuinely think that you played the best game in this tour and the losses you took can easily be written off as minor for one reason or another. Never would have expected being in this position agreeing to pm3 but here we are (!)

In the year we've known eachother you've been one of the best friends I could have asked for and if this is our last tour together as I quit 1v1 FOREVER! (after umbd :joy:) and you embrace your future as a Taoyuan Tauroses franchise player then im content that it was a great one.

Pokemh you are genuinely one of the most effortlessly funny ppl ive met. everytime I want to make someone laugh I try to think about what nat would do. Thanks for picking up a win as a sub and sorry my ss "prep" was so flop early in the tour.

Medeia Sorry for throwing you to the wolves this tour. I was complacent to let sv do whatever while I reacclimated to the oldgens and I think that made this tour more of a burden that it should have been on you. With that being said, you're an extremely strong player who put up a great results in spite of circumstances. Rly happy we went back to back in team tours too.

TKC Finals slotting argument and scheduling nonsense aside im beyond glad we got to play a game/tour/whatever together. In the games you did manage to play you overperformed to hell and made it look easy. I think you are an extremely funny and perceptive person even if you can rub me the wrong way sometimes (which I think is something you take pride in anw, fair enough). Love u bro.
