I'm still not sure if I'll be participating or not, but I decided to make a team anywho.

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers (It IS allowed right? :S)
Bold
28 HP / 228 Def / 252 SpD
Shadow Tag

Encore
Counter
Mirror Coat
Charm / Safeguard

Yeah, ew. Basically annoys the shit out of anything and everything. Pretty much a guaranteed kill off the bat. Is Safeguard an option here? Could be handy... x)

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Naive
252 Atk / 6 SpA / 252 Spe
Sand Veil

Outrage
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Earthquake

Scarf Outrage hurts. Wobbuffet makes the holes that Garchomp exploits. This is more effective than Salamence in 3 v 3 imo.

Zapdos @ Lum Berry
Bold
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Pressure

Thunderbolt
Roost
Reflect
Heat Wave

Scizor + Gyara counter. Sponges hits and is an important ground resist.

I was thinking a Stat-Up sweeper > Garchomp. Wobbuffet can give me free switches with Encore, so perhaps SD Lucario? I'm not sure what to go with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 100 EVs/stat only applies to level 100s (Arceus). With Cress, you can vitamin 100 in the stats you want to train it in, then EV train the rest of the spread on low levelled stuff, then if you put it into a box and withdraw it, it should be properly EV trained without levelling up.

i hope wobbuffet isn't allowed, but if it is i personally would go for safeguard over charm as i always seem to get screwed over buy status problems one way or another

also, which one are u going to?

Hey TS, your team appears to struggle against Scizor, and gengar can also cause problems, mainly scarf HP ice ones at that, not to mention other scarfchomps aswell.

ScarfGar shouldn't be a problem. Since it does get stuck to one move, I can predict the HP Ice on Garchomp and switch to Wobb for the KO. I agree Scizor can be a pain, U-turn puts Cress through the ringer. I was thinking of replacing it, but I'm unsure as to what. Zapdos could be an idea, it can serve as a Tank of sorts + set up screens and serves well as a Scizor and Gyara counter. Opinions?

I'm not sure if Gyarados outspeeds Zapdos on that set, but Gyara could us Wobb for Dragon Dance set up and sweep.

Swampert also poses a big threat. Expect to see Swampy and Gyara a plenty if this is for WA.

Please expand upon your descriptions in accordance with rule 3. Why did you pick a certain Pokemon or moveset, how does it fit within your team etc. PM me with improved descriptions and I'll unlock your thread and you can bump it.

RMT Rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
