Sign-Ups | Round 1 | Round 2

Introduction

Inspired by some great tournaments held in the past, this tournament will involve 128 players on one of 16 teams competing against one another in DPP OU and BW OU.

Players that are matched up against one another will play one DPP game and one BW game. If a player wins both games, he advances. If the players split the games, the person that lost the fewest Pokemon in the first two games will choose if the tiebreaker will be DPP or BW. If both players lose the same number of Pokemon, the tiebreaker will be BW by default. This will be a team tournament. There will be 16 pre-selected captains, and they will be responsible for finding 7 other players to form a team.

Rules

  • Matches must be played on Smogon's Pokemon Online server.
  • Standard clauses apply.
  • This will be a 128-man, single elimination tournament.
  • There will be 16 teams with 8 players each.
  • Players will score points for their team depending on how many rounds they win, similarly to the Smogon Tour. Click here to see how points are scored.
  • Efforts will be made to prevent teammates from having to face one another, but this can't be guaranteed in later rounds.
  • There will be no substitutes past Round 1 so captains are encouraged to find active players.
  • NO JOHNS! Deadlines will be short as always.

The deadline for this round is Monday, November 7 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Please don't make this round as long as the last... that was excruciating. Anyways, Round 2 saw four teams bite the bullet and now standings are being pretty much dominated by three teams. An interesting turn INDEEEEEEED. It's a joke that TFC won ? I was on since tuesday and tfc never show up before 1 am my time and i lost ? That's seriously pathetic, tired about that shitty game with PO and about tourney like that. Btw i just asked an extension till today because its the week end and i can be on at 1am my time.
Oh and it's useless talking about my vacation, i had internet with my phone and TFC was never on before 1 am my time, so even if i wasnt on vacation it was same. I had 4 battles to get done and the day i come back i get them done expect one, i let you find which one. You didn't trust me ?
