  • General tournament rules and regulations, which can be found here.
  • Standard SM OU rules.
  • Tournament will be single elimination.
Tournament Specific Rules:

-Single Elimination
-No Disallow Spectators - for easy ghosting and scouting
-No Battle Timeout (Ask a Mod to turn off Timer on smogtours, if there isn't one online, find someone in the smogtours discord server.) - this allows you time to discuss strategy during the battle, but if you timestall your opponent on purpose, with no evidence to the contrary, I reserve the right to disqualify your team. This rule drags the battles out by a lot, so make sure you have enough time when scheduling.
-Because of the ghosting element, who is actually battling for the team each round makes little difference, just make sure the battle gets done.
-There's nothing to stop you taking the advice of people not on your team, but remember that they may not always have your best interest at heart, and spies and backstabbers are everywhere...
-You must post the replay of your battle and logs of your ghosting in the thread of the respective round. Ghosting in call is also allowed as long as someone records it and uploads it (ideally to youtube). (You will notice that the ghosting logs are by far the best part of this tournament, so it'd be a shame for them not to be available to everyone) Failure to not post logs of ghosting will result in a coinflip. Losers do not need to post logs, but it would be great if you did as they are always fun to read. I suggest creating a discord server or group chat, and setting appearance to compact to make sifting through logs easier.

Didnt wanna do this but gonna have to call act, been contacting their manager for 5 days and he was away and he tells me later to contact his players to schedule cos he'll be away. Tried to contact his players ( one of my players tried as well ) but i never get a response ( this happened on discord, ill pm u screens later if u want ).

Dude we never even scheduled a time, we told you we couldn't play the one time you suggested (which was 16pm with no timezone :thinking:) but you assumed we'd turn up anyway and call activity when we didn't show up? anyway, requesting extension or activity because we are being a lot more flexible than you when scheduling.
 
My opponent just responded on the last day before the deadline and we have not arranged a time yet. Need extension if no extension is allowed I'm requesting activity.

Why are you lying man? He told you that we were available on Saturday Afternoon at 16pm gtm+1 (so he even told you the timezone) and you didn't even answer so we assumed that it was fine for you all, if you don't have time to be active in a tournament think twice before subscribing into one. (We also wasted the entire afternoon waiting for you yesterday and you requested activity, are you serious man?? Shame on you)

We actually told you twice that we can only play weekdays so idk why you would assume that time was fine but w/e

Ok so he said the timezone thing because you only said "we can play Sunday" (you did mention it later because we asked lol), and we said "Most of us work weekends are there any weekdays you guys can do" for me this is really explanatory of that we cant play Saturday/Sunday. You guys immediately ignore this and schedule yourselves a day we said we cant. About the last part, we can play 5 days a week, you said "we can only play Saturday" I think there is someone else who doesn't have time to be active for a tour.
