Welcome to the third Doubles Classic! See the Doubles Classic III commencement thread for details on scoring and the playoffs that will follow the conclusion of BW, XY, and SM Cups.

Tournament-specific rules
  • This is a standard BW Doubles OU tournament. (see the BW DOU metagame thread for various resources)

  • Rounds will be best-of-three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.

  • Replays must be saved. Any match win reported without replays will not count. This is to promote the development of the BW DOU metagame and ensure players are on an equal playing field with regard to replay access.
  • Activity calls will be made by me, potentially with neutral assistance from a TD / other Doubles Classic hosts. Coin flips will be done publicly in the Smogon Doubles room.
  • If you are found signing up under more than one alt, you will be banned from circuit events for life.

Activity win request. Opponent is 25 minutes late and has been a pain to schedule with him for the whole week, I'm not willing to waste more time on this. Proofs on his wall.

Disputing, we scheduled for "midday" and 12:30 your time seems like midday enough. I woke up earlier than usual to accommodate this.

Regarding Tikkito vs. Crunchman:
This case was also reviewed independently by another TO. Tikkito began scheduling early, but Crunchman did not reply until Saturday. Neither side was particularly clear on setting exact scheduled times, instead offering vague approximate times. If one interprets "midday" as noon, then Crunchman did indeed miss the scheduled time during the extension timeframe. Even if you do not interpret midday as noon, it seems to me Crunchman failed to do due diligence to verify an exact time, and given the initial late scheduling response, win goes to Tikkito.
