After 4 weeks and 32 people qualifying, we've reached the playoffs phase of the NDLT! As a reminder, seeding was done with ELO being the main factor, and tiebreakers being settled by week qualified and then a Best-of-3 series if the tie occurred in the same week. Here are the current seeds:

  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex ban list, which can be found here.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • A list of National Dex specific mechanics can be found here.

this bracket is hands down gonna be a showstopper for this round. 2 strong players all-round. since nvk doesnt get off natdex for any other tier hes favoured to win this though it'll he a great series to watch

[31] Maxouille vs Winner of (Darkness 789 vs xDarkcrafterHDx) [15]/[18]
Darkness is a well known and strong tournament player achieving great heights in seasonals. i favour him to win last & this round

[3] ChrisPBacon vs SpectralThief [19]
another showstopper with 2 strong players in their own rights. chris knows how to pilot his BO/FAT's like no other which to me favours him to win.

[29] kDCA vs Lameflame [13]
2 underdogs imo. both versatile in natdex. i do see kdca pulling up with some fire bamboozling lameflame for sure, same can be said for them too.

[5] crying vs Atilax [21]
cryingtour2022.

[27] Northumberland vs baconeatinassassin [22]
bacon imo will win this round easily.

[7] Mollymiltoast vs Yama [23]
molly'll load keldeo in all 3 games

[25] Arundrago vs Weaselfie [24]

Me and darkness probably need an extension because I'm out of 4g until the 25 so it would be nice to grant us an extension with the usual + 3 days deadline (currently I rely of free wifi-hot-spot but I might c.. T when.... Ver.. Bzzzzt...
