  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

Not seeing the monsters of Fatty or Hsowa in playoff seems strange to me (they didnt sign up ofc) but its also fresh, gonna share my opinion in these NU pairings:

DPP NU: Easter Bliss (1-1) vs BeatsBlack (5-2)
Easter is probably the less experienced in the tier between these 4, playing an all-round role in the team, but this tier is pretty wild, records or exp wont be decisive. Easter showed to be solid enough as a player, I only have doubts if can use something different and risk a little more with the team as it has so far only used 2 standard teams, well standard isnt bad but i think when ure the underdog you will need a better plan.
On the other hand we have BeatsBlack which is doing amazing and has the chance to finish it with this playoffs. Used interesting teams with really dangerous mons and sets to punish the opponents (i have a few examples in mind), I can see the intention to look for a better mu using some aggressive choices, will it be a double-edged sword?.
Id say 30-70% for BeatsBlack.

DPP NU: neomon (3-3) vs etern (4-3)
Maybe I am mistaken, but I can see more exp in the tier in Neomon games. However he is getting some bad results and bad mus with the teams choices, maybe due a lack of prep or a bad approach, i have no idea. I saw some heat sets in his teams tho, but appear to have been ineffective.
On the other side, we have Eternally, with solid teams but also some interesting sets like a couple of anti-leads used that called my attention. Im gonna give Eternally the edge because builds their teams and prob a will have a better prep, also has no fear even to use a fucking Sneasel, which is more meritorious than using the Rapidash i watched in a Neomon game (my judgement is mind-boggling ye). Excited to see both teams in this game.

Rooting for Umbry and Reina team, good luck to Mashing as well
