Thanks Spartans for the fun season. The results sucked after W2, but you guys are great people who tried your best and the environment was always solid; I had fun and I guess that counts for something, even if it’s loser talk at this point. Great job to Attribute and ACR1 for owning in OU in particular! My favorite part of this tournament was seeing you guys succeed in some tight games, and props to our managers for picking you guys when there were countless options available. Good luck closing out strong this week my friends. Will drop some predicts on games that intrigue me.

SV NU: zS vs Elias PSY - Two underappreciated players, in my book. It’s so easy for people to chalk up success in certain lower tier pools to weak pools or uncharted territory in these metagames, but I think those explanations are lazy. Elias constantly builds his own teams with his own style and no matter how people try to prepare for him, he overcomes it and wins more often than not. zS is another great story — he is up for the grind and continues to improve. I think he will join the group if 6 win NU players this week in a very close game.

SV OU: emforbes vs Pais - Think I speak for a few singles mainstays when I say emforbes has been appointment viewing for a bit now. Maybe his SCL record didn’t end up where he wanted it, but overall it’s been a strong transition to this format and I do think the pedigree is there to be one of the best. Dude just gets winning at Pokemon; pretty sure he kicked my ass repeatedly on ladder this past Summer. Pais, on the flip side, has been strong this season and is looking to get a sixth win. I look at his teams most weeks and say “wow, this looks annoying to face” and I think that’s honestly a pretty good sign that he’s doing a lot of the right things. Feel like he’s making things work a lot of others may struggle to or hesitate to even try. I do think Pais will grab his sixth win, but should be tight and very curious about team picks.

SV OU: Malekith vs Piyu - Honestly the storylines here are pretty fire. Malekith on a redemption arc after catching some heat leading into the season/at the end of last season while Piyu is trying to close an all-time regular season run. I actually think this will be pretty close as Malekith is a historically strong player, capable of giving anyone a run for their money regardless of generation or circumstance. But it would be hard to hold against Piyu. Major props to Piyu and rooting for them to close it out. Should be fun.

Platoon, not the season we wanted and I am partially the blame. Was simply not our tour and on my behalf, I apologise for the poor performance this year. I want to specially shoutout Tony Star Jox Xrn and Santu in particular.

I think in all my years of playing this game, ive never had the pleasure of playing with such a strong managerial duo quite like Tony and Star, you guys were one of the biggest reasons for my success last year and I thank you for giving me the chance and trust to be a part of the platoon franchise these last 2 years, even if things didnt go the way we wanted to this year, I wouldn't want it any other way. Tony your understanding of bringing the best out of players is simply unmatched and you are literally the GOAT manager, no question. Combined with Stars knowledge across the board and being at the calibre of play that you're at star, it is a shame this franchise hasn't gone on to win anything yet but im sure that day will come... also to Lunar. ... your attitude is simply incredible, never giving up that mentality even when things looked bleak is a great aspect to have, you and Xrn killed it once again.

Thank you for the last 2 seasons of helping out in LC Jox you're a mastermind behind the scenes and although you were busier this year, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side in that LC slot. If you're still playing in the following years, I hope you get a chance to be a pickup or even one day a starter :) love u fren

and to Xrn and Santu as players, thanks for the last 2 years also... you guys are phenomenal players and although it wasnt our year this time, our time together wont go unnoticed, even though your record hasnt been reflective of how youve been as a player santu, you're still one of the best in my eyes, and as for you xrn, I dont think ive seen any slot so tuned in and dominant as you have been the last 2 seasons, you're just a machine.

Forecast into the Playoffs!

- The Technical Machines are guaranteed to make the Playoffs (only two other teams can reach 12 points).
- The Showdown Shoguns are eliminated from the Playoffs. One of the Islanders or the Gibles are guaranteed to reach 10 points, which means that a win (7+2 points) is not enough.

- Realistically, the 4th team will be whoever of the Orange Islanders or the Circuit Breakers perform better. It is possible they tie or win with the same differential, leading to a Tiebreaker. However, Studio Gible can sneak into the Playoffs if they win against the Islanders and if the Breakers lose or tie (the Gibles have a better differential).
- Alternatively, both the Islanders and Breakers can make Playoffs if they both win and the Power Plant Dynamos lose. The Uncharted Terrors could also potentially miss the Playoffs like the Dynamos, but unless they choke terribly, their +16 differential basically guarantees them to qualify.

(Differential = game wins minus game losses)

The Shoguns are out but I am very proud of the effort we put in despite it all. Rooting for the Breakers to qualify and win the chip IG ?!
 
We're entering the final week before playoffs at 19-20 predicts, so going positive this week would be appreciated. Don't let me down again, @ppl i'm bolding >:(

SV UU: Mossy Sandwich vs Kenix I'm starting this week off by being incredibly disrespectful to the UU masters winner. There are a couple of reasons for that though, so don't start throwing metaphorical tomatoes my way. Mossy's cooking simply hasn't brought good results so far, being reflected in his 1-2 record. On the other hand, Kenix has been piloting whatever teams they've cooked over there very well, and he's seemed capable of going toe to toe with the very best. He also explained us all the lore behind Carapinga last night, so Carapinga on them my guy!

SV UU: Mimilucha vs Lyssa I've become a fan of Lyssa's teams and gameplay lately. It seems like she can always form a solid gameplan and pursue the path having better chances at the win. (She also gifts me fishies sometimes, but i promise you there was no bribery involved in the making of this post.)

SV UU: Punny vs Skarpherim Last week was yet another showcase of Punny's ingeniousness in the UU tier. A HO unlike anything I've seen so far, yet it made plenty of sense after giving it a bit of thought. I'm expecting more heat like that in this week.

SV UU: Amukamara vs pdt Both are very skilled players in the UU tier, but Liam's teams have seemed a bit more well rounded and harder to flop as a whole so far. That doesn't mean they've been repetitive (unless you count that one team which was literally brought 2 weeks in a row), we even saw a donphan last week! Pdt's cooks have been more hit or miss so far, and thus I'm favouring Liam to come on top.

SV UU: Sabella vs JustFranco They've both put good shows so far in this tour, and they both want to come back from last week's setback. Who's going to make it? My money's on Sab ofc.

been a fun season spartans, thank you for the past 10 weeks. special shoutout to finch, probably one of, if not the best teammate / leader ive ever had. flugza, i appreciate you guys for having the trust in me to learn a tier from scratch and do something. its up the next time for sure... thank you to our ou core, lax, and hellom for answering any questions i had about the tier/giving advice whenever i asked, very much appreciate yall
