Tournament rules
  • This is a standard SM Doubles OU tournament.
  • This tournament will be double elimination.
  • Rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown, on either the main server or the Smogtours server.
  • To encourage metagame development, prevent disputed results, and ensure an even playing field, replays are required for all matches.
  • Activity calls will be made by the tournament host, potentially with neutral assistance from a Doubles OU Forum Moderator. Coin flips will be done publicly on PS.
  • In the event that something is added to or removed from the SM DOU metagame in the middle of a round, that change will be in effect starting the next round.
  • Do not cheat. Cheating will result in a disqualification. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
    • Signing up with more than one account
    • Ghosting or being ghosted by another player (e.g. while playing a set, asking for advice about what team to bring or what plays to make)
    • Manipulating match outcomes (e.g. throwing a match in exchange for Smogon likes)
  • Do not harass or insult your opponents. I reserve the right to disqualify anyone breaking this rule. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary.

Calling act, opponent missed scheduled time by 25 minutes and we have no further times which fit both of our schedules. (by missing scheduled time by 25 minutes i mean they messaged me 25 minutes after said time that they wouldn't make it)

editing with context:
them: "Can we request an extension, I don't think your act is vailed because you used the time I gave another opponent as the time we would play our match. When I responded yeah I could do that time I thought you were talking in the context of Saturday because that was the time I responded on your post otherwise I would have never agreed to that time."


my original message:
Could you play like 30 mins earlier? that would work great, but i think 5 pm -4 is right on the line where i don't know whether i can do that time until it's basically already there. (i accidentally commented on christianfinity's post on their wall where they responded with a time, said time being 5 pm -4.)

You acknowledged it was the wrong post, which means you were aware of the fact that you were responding to my message. In my message, i referenced the fact that "5 pm -4" was just on the line, and asked if we could play slightly earlier. If you didn't realise that i was talking about 5 pm -4, you didn't read my message. I don't think i'm in the wrong here.
