  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

First predicts of the week
SV: 691 vs Fc
691 is currently 2-1 in UUPL, while FC is currently 1-2.
SV: 3d vs Lana
I'm Picking 3d here because he heat Clean last week in SPL.
SV: olivia vs RichardMillePlain
Could go either way, I see Olivia providing more effort in Prep but it could go either way.
SS: Separation vs Icemaster
Separation is a very good SS player and I would expect them bounce back against Icemaster.
SM: kumiko vs pdt
One of the highlight matches of the week, I expect pdt to come out on top due to better recent results.
ORAS: watashi vs The Strap
The Strap is currently undefeated in ORAS UU, and I expect this to continue against watashi.
BW: Tack vs seraphz
seraphz has been performing very well in BW UU, and is currently undefeated.
DPP: LpZ vs Drud
LpZ is in fantastic form in DPP UU, having a record of 12-1 in his last 13 DPP UU matches for UUPL.
ADV: mielke vs Isza
mielke has struggled in ADV UU, and Isza has a lot of experience in ADV before.
GSC: col49 vs Garay oak
col49 is currently undefeated in GSC, and Garay is currently winless, so I see col49 winning here.

Cerulean City Crush Kin (0) vs (0) Iki Town Idols
SV: Kate vs Lily
Lily is coming off of a UU circuit win, which shows her aptitude for SV UU. Although Kate was a finalist in last year's UU open. This match will be one to watch.
SV: JustFranco vs etern
I picked etern to win due to currently being 3-0 in UUPL, alongside being a key cog in the Primarina's UUBD win.
SV: Feliburn vs Finchinator
Finch is currently 2-1 in UUPL, while Feli hasn't played in much SV UU.
SS: BigFatMantis vs Adaam
BFM is excellent at SM UU, and is currently 2-1 in UUPL, so I have him winning.
SM: basaninho vs ramolost
Ramo won last week using broken stall, so I expect him to win.
ORAS: Real FV13 vs Gondra
Gondra is having a better season than RealFV13, so predict them to win the match.
BW: Accel vs hellom
I am a big fan of Accel, and want them to win against Hellom.
DPP: Cam vs Thiago Nunes
Cam is another player who I am a big fan of, and also won last week's match.
ADV: Parpar vs Xrn
Very close match, ultimately predicting Parpar due to having more experience in ADV.
GSC: Alice Kazumi vs Celebiii
Celebii is a much more experienced GSC player imo.

SV: passion vs umbry
I choose passion as they are currently 3-0.
SV: Piyu vs Kushalos
Piyu has been in fantastic form while Kush has been in poor form.
SV: Rasche vs Nat
Nat is currently 3-0 in SV, so that is why I am picking them.
SS: Fogbound Lake vs Attribute
While Fogbound Lake is currently undefeated in SS, Attribute I feel has more knowledge about the meta.
SM: Santu vs odr
Odr is having a fantastic season in SM, being undefeated.
ORAS: dingbat vs Dj Breloominati♬
dingbat wins these.
BW: Monai vs Punny
Punny has more experience in BW UU.
DPP: fatty vs frankjosh
fatty currently undefeated with a 3-0 record in DPP.
ADV: shiloh vs Charmriah
Picking my UUBD teammate here.
GSC: BeeOrSomething vs Medeia
BeeOrSomething is a pretty Good GSC UU player, as shown by their 2-1 record.

Camphrier Town Ladies (0) vs (0) Friend Safari Pokemon Trainers
SV: vivalospride vs avarice
Picking Viv here due to being a stronger player.
SV: Mossy Sandwich vs Meru
Mossy was able to defeat umbry, and in addition is currently undefeated in SV UU.
SV: Slip vs Sabella
A very tough decision, picked Sabella due to being 2-1.
SS: crying vs Lizzie
Lizzie has a much stronger understanding of the SS UU meta. Crying will come up with something though.
SM: Sam vs robjr
Picked robjr due to being more up to date with the recent meta than Sam.
ORAS: Shiba vs DugZa
DugZa is imo the stronger player here.
BW: Cow vs Larry
Cow is having a very rough UUPL, so I predict that Larry wins here.
DPP: Estarossa vs Micciu
Estarossa is currently 2-1 in DPP here, so I expect them to win.
ADV: Heysup vs Amukamara
Heysup has immense knowledge of ADV, so I expect him to win here.
GSC: SANKE CARP vs Hydronics
SANKE CARP is currently undefeated here, and as a result I expect them to win, although Hydronics will put up a fantastic fight.
 
Hello again, some thoughts and predicts for this week's SV gaming

Mikan Island Monsters (3) vs (0) Sinjoh Ruin Strikers

The Monsters are heading into this week with a total SV record of 4-5, 3 points and 5th place on the standings. There's been some inconsistency there, with 691 being positive at 2-1, while leng loi and 3d both standing at 1-2. One might think that's fine, because 3d and leng were only worth a combined 7k credits. For this week we'll be seeing (bellibolt lover) olivia subbing in for leng, another cheap purchase. Olivia has played SV UU teamtours and individual tours before, so she's more familiar with the tier and capable of building her own teams. The Strikers find themselves at a slightly worse position than their opponents heading into the week, with a total SV record of 3-6, 2 points and 7th place on the standings. All of Fc, Lana and clean have put forth a 1-2 record so far, something that perhaps the managers hadn't expected. They'll be giving RichardMillePlain a chance this week, subbing him into clean's place. Like olivia, Richard is another 3k emergency sub, but unlike olivia, he doesn't like bellibolt that much and he's gonna need more support.

SV: 691 vs Fc they're both very solid players and the game could go either way. I hope the team matchup won't be very skewed and we'll see a nice game.
SV: 3d vs Lana 3d is the more accomplished player in general, something that hasn't necessarily shown in this tour so far. They've both had a tough set of opponents to face so far, and they've done well enough for their 3k price tag. I can see this game going the other way too, but 3d should be favoured.
SV: olivia vs RichardMillePlain the suboff. I will favour olivia in this, due to her greater familiarity with the tier. This game can go either way though (yes I know I said the same thing for the other 2 games too and that I predicted a 3-0). One of the subs gets to be a hero and the other one gets to be a sub again, probably.


Cerulean City Crush Kin (2) vs (1) Iki Town Idols

After the first 3 weeks of the tour being finished, are the Crush Kin also... finished? This is the question on the mind of anyone who takes a look at the standings as they are now. A total SV record of 1-8 across 3 weeks, 0 points and 8th place on the standings. Getting 1 win in SV from a 36k 4 player core is tough, considering how 1 more win during weeks 1 and 2 could have transformed those losses into ties. So why did the core of Franco, Don Eduardo and Kate didn't perform as well as their 1st place in the PRs would suggest? My guess is that they don't benefit much from eachother in a team setting. Franco being the only "knower" puts pressure on him to support everyone else, while the others might not even like the support very much. After some cookery was done, Feliburn has found himself in SV instead of Don Eduardo for this week. That's an alternative I like more than what we've seen so far, because he was franco's teammate in UUWC, and they're for sure expected to have good rapport working together. The Idols are going into week 4 with a total SV record of 6-3, 3 points and 4th place on the standings. Their worst performer, to my personal surprise, is Lily. A 1-2 start for her is not the end of the world though, especially because the rest of the SV core she and Pak picked, have been performing really well. A fantastic 3-0 start from etern, and a bit less fantastic 2-1 start from Finch. Together they have taken down opponents such as Meru, vivalospride and avarice, showing that they are one of the best SV cores of the tour.

SV: Kate vs Lily I know for a fact that Kate is the last person Lily wanted to face, so that's funny. I'm favouring her a little, but it can go the other way too.
SV: JustFranco vs etern etern has a much better record so far, but franco had a bit of a tougher schedule, so I'll favour him. Can for sure go either way.
SV: Feliburn vs Finchinator Finch has had great games so far, but Feli had some nice games in UUWC as well, and I think his playstyle matches well into Finch. Could definitely go the other way. I'm aware I just predicted a SV win for the Crush Kin, so that's sussy at best, and I could be delusional at worst.


Moomoo Farm Mysterious Sisters (1) vs (2) Celestial Tower Tycoons

This is for sure the most exciting clash of the week. The sisters find themselves first on the standings with 6 points and a combined SV record of 6-3. What's unique about their case is that their 6 wins are the result of the flawless performance of passion and Piyu, whereas apple didn't manage to get one. Makes total sense for the managers to slot in Rasche in his place for this week, giving him a chance to prove himself against the very best. Having almost as good of a performance, the Tycoons are heading into the week second on the standings, with 5 points and a total SV record of 6-3 as well. Their best performer has been Nat, who successfully managed to clutch another win vs franco last week for the 3-0. Both she and umbry have been very reliable for the Tycoons so far, with Kush feeling like the weaker link here.

SV: passion vs umbry ultra banger highlight game. Gonna give the edge to umbry, cause even if passion has the better record so far, umbry's had the toughest set of opponents to face, imo. I can see it going the other way as well, and it's likely gonna be the decider of which team wins the SVoff for the week.
SV: Piyu vs Kushalos this game feels easier to predict than the one above. Piyu has been looking better and this is his chance of securing the 4-0.
SV: Rasche vs Nat no reason not to predict Nat here. Considering the strength of her previous opponents so far, her 3-0 seems like the most impressive so far out of every record. The upset potential is always there, but it's small, and it's up to Rasche to show us what he's got.


Camphrier Town Ladies (1) vs (2) Friend Safari Pokemon Trainers

Coming into this week's games, the Ladies find themselves third on the standings, having 3 points and a collective 6-3 SV record. Their best performer isn't vivalospride. Their best performer isn't Mossy Sandwich. Their best performer is Bouff. Yes, you didn't misread this. This is something I never saw coming, but I will give credit where credit is due. Great run so far Bouff, I'll be looking forward to seeing more SV from you, which I'll be derpived of this week... because you're subbing out...? I'm sure there are reasons for this sad piece of news, but you should know I'm still sad! Mossy has looked good so far, even if he didn't play last week. I've liked the teams I saw from him. Can't say the same about viv, who needs to put up more wins to justify his insane price tag. I liked what I saw from him in week 1, not as much after that. The good thing is his teammates have been reliable, so underperforming so far hasn't had very bad consequences and there's plenty of time to return to better performances. The Trainers are 6th on the standings, with a 4-5 SV record and 2 points. Sabella's been the most consistent SVer for the team, having put up a 2-1 so far, with avarice and Meru being 1-1 and 1-2 respectively. They'll for sure have to do better from now on, in order to make playoffs.

SV: vivalospride vs avarice vivalospride is probably considered to be the favourite going into this game, but I'll pick avarice this time around. It can for sure go the other way too, but I liked avarice more during last week.
SV: Mossy Sandwich vs Meru hopefully another banger of a matchup. These guys have faced numerous times, and they can certainly both emerge victorious from this clash. Mossy's play has been looking crispier in this tour, so I'll just bold him here.
SV: Slip vs Sabella Sabella is the better player here. Slip didn't convince me he can compete with the best during last week, and the games are probably gonna keep being as tough.

This shouldn't be a shocker, but the teams which have done better in SV, are higher up on the standings. Makes sense since that's the format that's being played 3 times more than anything else. I expect this trend to keep up throughout the tour, and I'd be shocked if any team with a negative overall SV record manages to make playoffs.
