Welcome to the commencement thread for the UnderUsed Premier League XII! Like every year, 8 teams with 10 starters will play each other on the big stage in order to come out as the winners in the biggest UU team tournament of the year. Who will win? Which players will be the stars, which will be the breakout players, and which players will flop? Stay tuned to see!

I think i did pretty good in UUSD
I like fun ideas, if you want me to try and build with a dumb mon i can try (not saying itll go well depending on the mon but hey the effort is fun)
I made this cool team centered around wisp harc https://pokepast.es/66cae8fc5cdc1b24 (submitted it for sample teams, idk if it was accepted but itd be cool)
Some other funny ideas that went through my head include:

Draft me for funny ideas or if you want to contribute to my dumb collection with more funny ideas, they may not always work but sometimes you get a goodie, and I love it when dumb idea works
 
I've never played in official tours and want to broaden my horizons/break into tour scene. I have played a truly mind bending amount of ladder games over my career on ladder (starting in late B2W2 OU before finding my home in XY UU) and have played off and on since then. Every gen, I dedicate a few months to the game to see if I'll enjoy it. In 2022, during the twilight of SS UU, I peaked 3rd on ladder.

I got much more into SV UU than SS UU - I've floated multiple accounts into the top 20 across all major styles (featuring rock-spam balance, cresselia + overqwil stall, and hyper offense) and peaked top 3 again.

I'm a 24 year old law student in my final semester of graduate school. I'll be taking the bar exam in July.

No tryouts though sorry! I do not have the time

Hi everyone. Many of you may not know me, but I actually came second in the UU open when ORAS was current gen. I also made it to the final 4 of UU majors, so I reckon I had an argument as a top 5 player in that gen. However, this was in 2016 and I haven't really played UU much since then, but I still have all my teams :swole:. I wasn't gonna sign up for another tour, but I'm considering doing it for this. Hit me up on Discord @og.stallion or message me on here if you reckon you might be interested in drafting me.

Not extremely impressive by any metric, but like, I click buttons nice.

I can play a multitude of tiers (SV, SM, ADV) and build in every tier I play for, meaning that not only am I self sufficient, but I can also support several slots at once! I'm also confident enough in my ability to play some other metas (SS, BW) that I am willing to sub if needed.

Speaking of support, in the most recent UUSD (of which I was on the winning team!) I provided an ample amount of teams and tests, notably being the primary support for our almost undefeated ADV slot. I also mention this specifically as I have (up-to-date) builds in a tier that is infamous for its resources being outdated and having constant changes due to the unfucking of its tiering process.

I also built the large majority of SV teams in UUWC for US East, and we made playoffs!

My point is this: If you want someone who will be active, someone who will cook and test and communicate, someone who will most assuredly be there for the team: pick me up.

Just to all the managers in the draft, I'd appreciate it if I could get some genuine feedback on why I didn't get drafted. I am currently no 1 on the SV UU ladder (which I expected would have been, at the bare minimum, enough to get on the bench). Is it because you don't know who I am?
