Tournament rules
  • All rounds will be best of 3 with one game each of ADV, DPP, and BW DOU, with the starting tier being picked randomly at the start of each week, and the loser of the previous game picking the next tier.
  • This tournament will be double elimination.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown, on either the main server or the Smogtours server.
  • To encourage metagame development, prevent disputed results, and ensure an even playing field, replays are required for all matches.
  • Activity calls will be made by the tournament host, potentially with neutral assistance from a Doubles OU Forum Moderator. Coin flips will be done publicly on PS.
  • In the event that something is added to or removed from any of the three metagames in the middle of a round, that change will be in effect starting the next round.
  • Do not cheat. Cheating will result in a disqualification. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
    • Signing up with more than one account
    • Ghosting or being ghosted by another player (e.g. while playing a set, asking for advice about what team to bring or what plays to make)
    • Manipulating match outcomes (e.g. throwing a match in exchange for Smogon likes)
  • Do not harass or insult your opponents. I reserve the right to disqualify anyone breaking this rule. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary.

B1Kharma vs Guard Spec - A time was mutually scheduled for, then B1Kharma gave the win, so Guard Spec receives the activity win

Jazz721 vs debole perdente - A time was mutually scheduled for, but debole perdente did not show, so Jazz721 receives the activity win

Concept vs Akaru Kokuyo - There was some mutual miscommunication about what timezone the scheduled time was for, so I allowed the extension the full week as there was no match needing played after due to the bye, but Concept just gave the win on Discord, so Akaru Kokuyo receives the activity win (edit to clarify - Akaru won the extension so is still in winners bracket, Concept lost the extension so dropped to losers bracket then automatically wins against the bye)
