Welcome to the SS 1v1 Cup in 1v1 Classic X!​

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • 1v1 Classic rules can be read here.
  • Gen 8 1v1. Bring 3 Pokemon, pick 1.
  • Battles must take place on main server or smogtours under the format [Gen 8] 1v1.
  • Best of five, single elimination.
  • If you don't get your match done, I will give the activity win to someone at random or their opponent or coinflip it. If both users are constantly making contact but can't set up a specific time, I will give an extension for 3 days. Do not rely on this because I might just flip your game if minimal effort was put in.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Replays are required from now on.

One of the more petty things I've done but I'm not thrilled about how this act call last round was handled. My opponent and I (with some difficulty, I forgot I had a conflict) explicitly scheduled for Saturday at 7:30pm -7. My opponent then messaged me at 7:30 pm on Friday to play. Again, we scheduled for Saturday. 7 hours before the scheduled time on Saturday, my opponent called activity on me. They conveniently cropped both my response to their Friday message and the actual scheduled time from the act call, 7 hours before we were scheduled to play.

bern I'll be honest, the game's done and who's to say I'd have even made the Saturday time. Besides, they're already out of this cup (thanks Nick!) But this is clearly a coinflip, not an act win, and being the victim of one of the more pitiful, bad-faith act fishes (I mean, not responding to my message saying we scheduled for 24 hours later and then cropping everything out of the "act call") makes me think they shouldn't be given the Classic points for r2.
