Round 8: SleepyKip

Desperate to at least do some harm to Michael before kicking the lights out, Swamp Thing Yawns loudly at the little shelled-creature. However, it is blocked by a huge Protect wall constructed by Michael! By then, Swamp Thing dozes off for 2 actions! As Swamp Thing snoozes and loses, Michael carefully aims at him and shoots a Water Spout that deals extraordinary damage! After that, he follows up by calling upon the nearby water spirits to conjure a Surf! The waves tower through the island and SPLASH onto Swamp Thing with rage! After the waves subside, Swamp Thing is still comfortably sleeping. Well, he's a Water-type, so what to expect!?

The_Shiny_Umbreon's actions!

That did less than we'd have liked. Alright. Use Water Pulse, and do your best to completely drench him! Then use Ice Beam on the water coating him, and see if you can't immobilize him! Finish the round with a Withdraw if he doesn't/can't attack, or a Protect if he attacks!

Let's try to make him fall asleep, so Yawn at Michael to make him tired. Follow up with a Rock Slide and hopefully that will make him flinch, and then use Water Gun, because there is just about no reason to Curse when he'll raise his Defense anyway.

Round 9: Water Wars - SO SLOW!

As Swamp Thing wakes up from his slumber, he notices that... Michael is whipping up a nice Water Pulse from his mouth! This envelopes Swamp Thing completely. However, aside from dealing little damage, it didn't really do anything! Afterward, Swamp Thing Yawns at Michael for his poor performance. Yawn...

Swamp Thing laughs at Michael... again. He summons a neighboring Rock Slide to come and slam onto the poor turtle! They slam onto the shell with decent power, but it didn't really flinch! Michael just comes out braver than ever, firing a Ice Beam from his mouth onto the mudfish... which also did pretty pathetic damage. Don't you wish these guys had Thunderbolt or something?

For the last action, Swamp Thing squirts a Water Gun at Michael, which tickles his fancy. Why was that? Because Michael has already set up a Protect to defend himself from the... really weak attack! It was probably better to take the hit and attack back than Protect good Michael!

Round 10: Water Wars 2

Ahh, what a tiring battle! Look at how worn out Michael is... but gladly, his paralysis is gone! Celebrating its disappearance, Michael forcibly Yawns at the little Swamp Thing before it goes Digging an adventure! That looks like it had a big effect on Swamp Thing's alertness! Swamp Thing then pops out right under Michael for a smashing hit! Afterward, Michael kinda just dozes off for... 1 action. Oh great.

Michael sleeps on for this lonely action while Swamp Thing summons a Rock Slide to crush the turtle with. It succeeds in dealing some damage, but this only causes Michael to wake up! There, Michael summons a raging Surf that crashes onto the island and swarms Swamp Thing with aquatic waves. Swamp Thing finds the waters to be quite comfortable though, and digs into the soften soil! Again, he attacks from under for quite miniature damage!

Continuing where we left off, Michael is kinda in "perfect" condition except for one thing - his energy. To remedy that problem, he takes a chill pill and restores some yummy energy! Swamp Thing is at a terrible state, but he's still slightly alert! Due to that, he's able to Yawn successfully at Michael's face, making him drowsy too! After that, Swamp Thing falls into a... 2-action sleep! Wait, that's the entire round!

While Swamp Thing sleeps forever, Michael Chills twice!

Round 12: Water Wars 4

Despite his weary state, Michael curls into a Withdraw to prepare for his inevitable sleep. As he did that, Swamp Thing bursts into wakefulness and burrows underground and strikes with a Dig attack from under! This did pretty minor damage due to the Withdraw, but we'll see what happens when Michael is sleeping for 2 actions! Swamp Thing laughs as he receives 2 free actions to pumble wumble Michael! Or perhaps... it's only 1 when he slides down some rocks for again, little damage, and chills for the last action for the round.

Hey look! Something's up with Michael. Is it his Torrent of power activating? I think so! Beware Swamp Thing, beware!

Round 12: Water Wars 5

Immediately, Michael wakes up from his terrible nightmare and sees that his powers have increased! He feels powerful! And there he conjures a raging Surf attack that swarms the already swarmed island and sweeps Swamp Thing into a rock or two! Swamp Thing recovers from the attack with ease and Digs into the sand and pops out right under Michael for a direct hit! The earlier Withdraw is dramatically lowering the overall damage of Swamp Thing's attack though!

To keep his flavor rollin', Michael whips up a Water Pulse from his mouth and carries through the air and smashes onto the little Swamp Thing! This one seemed a bit strange... it's almost as if it was a critical hit! Swamp Thing doesn't really mind it too much and chills for a bit. Afterward, the two go for another bout! Michael aims a nice Surf at Swamp Thing's face while the mudfish... doesn't really Dig. That's because his Torrent has activated! There he goes for a smashing Waterfall that rams Michael with decent success.

Round 14: A Smack To The Face!

With Swamp Thing defeated, we got Soul Edge to come! Before Michael even attempts to Aqua Jet, he is met with a swift Sucker Punch to the face, which ultimately does him in. He's out of the battle!

Calculations

Soul Edge
A1: Sucker Punch > 8 + 3 + (0) - (1.5) = [10 Damage/5 Energy]

MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, just had to get that out. Use Faint Attack, X-Scissor, Faint Attack. If he attacks, use Suckerpunch instead, if he attacks multiple times in a row, use Faint Attack the second time in a row, followed by X-Scissor, or Suckerpunch again if he attacks three times.

If that is too confusing, just ignore the red.

I'm sorry for sending you out in this mismatched of an encounter, Kit, but you're our only hope! Your best chance lies in not getting hit as much as possible: use Confuse Ray until it hits! With the time you have left, use Thunderbolt, and use Double Team if you have enough time. Good luck!

Round 15: Dark Troubles

This is going to suck for Kit.

Being a sneaky ninja, Soul Edge faints into the shadows and attacks Kit from behind! What a spooky attack! After the assault, Kit turns around and fires a Confuse Ray onto the warrior, who's going to be confused for... 2 actions! And lo behold, he trips on a rock in confusion! Looks like he scratched himself with his blade while doing that... that's sad! Kit then uses this free time to create some electrical particles and fire it as a Thunderbolt onto Soul Edge. Hey, now that's some damage! And even though he was just attacked, Soul Edge is completely clueless at where to go! He slashes a rock, but it was a crab which he trips on and smashes his head once again in confusion! At the very least, he comes to his senses afterward and sees Kit preparing something. Kit gets another free time... and uses it to create... how many clones? His trainer didn't say! So.. he's creating 2 Double Team clones. How will that help against the "always-hit" Faint Attack I have no idea, but we'll see!

---------------------------------------------------------

Calculations

Soul Edge
A1: Faint Attack > 6 + 3 + (4.5) x 1.5 = 20.25 ~ [20 Damage/3 Energy]
A2: Hit self > 4 + (1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 Damage/3 Energy]
A3: Hit self > 4 + (1.5) = 5.5 ~ [6 Damage/3 Energy]

Kit
A1: Confuse Ray > [5 Energy]
A2: Thunderbolt > 10 - (1.5) = 8.5 ~ [9 Damage/7 Energy]
A3: Double Team (2) > [8 Energy]
