Wow, that Zorua sure is in rough shape, let's see what this round holds...

Zorroa starts this round off with another Extrasensory attack on Machop's mind! But, Machop still works towards her, and finally, when he reaches her, he gives her an intense flurry of puches and kicks. This Close Combat is too much for Zorroa and she collapses to the ground, unable to battle. It looks like the rain has stopped too. Just in time for Lyris' final Pokemon to be sent out!

My Siamese, the same Pokemon in 2 battles!!
Spr_5b_447.png

Riolu(*) Arualia (F)
Nature: Naive

Got to go to bed after this...
Base: Agility ~ Screech ~ Force Palm
If Machop attacks with Close Combat any time, Replace the moves when he attacks with Close Combat with Counter. (i.e.: 3rd action is Close combat, Replace 3rd action With Counter, but no 2 counters can be next to one another; i.e.: Counter ~ Counter ~ Force Palm is impossible, definitely Counter ~ Counter ~ Counter is also impossible)

Machop, great work!

Start off with a Bulk Up, then use Low Sweep, finish up with Revenge!

EDIT: LYRIS, THAT IS NOT YOUR ORIGINAL COMMAND LIST. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE YOUR MOVES AFTER THE OTHER PLAYER HAS POSTED.
EDIT2: Thank you for reverting that Lyris :)

um...not really-- but Don't you realize we are arguing??? If you'd like, I can report to the referee about this argument...

Riolu(*) Arualia (F)

Nature: Naive (Multiples Base Speed by 1.15 and provides a flat accuracy boost on all attacks equal to its new Base Speed squared, then divided based on its evolution stage. (Formula: ACC Boost = (New Base^2)/Divisor [Round Up] Cap: 30) The Divisor is 1000 for fully evolved Pokemon, 700 for Pokemon that are the second of three stages, 500 for Pokemon that are the first of two stages, and 350 for Pokemon that are the first of three stages. This accuracy boost is added to their Dodge Command chance; Subtracts One (1) Rank from Special Defense)
Type: Fighting
Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Abilities:
Stradfast: (Innate) If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases speed by one (1) stage to make up the difference. This speed boost is maintained at the end of each round.
Inner Focus: (Innate) When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.
Prankster (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.

Lyris is down to her final Pokemon... Can she still pull off a win?

First things first, Arualia heightens all her senses and tenses her muscles, giving her an Agility she didn't have before. It looks like Machop doesn't want to be outdone when it comes to boosting stats, because he too is tightening his muscles. In fact, I think he's tightening them so much, that they're actually getting bigger, he's Bulking Up!

Ooh, both these Pokemon are ready for the battle now. Who will prevail?

Arualia decides to harass her opponent before getting to the real battle and gives Machop an ear-splitting Screech, lowering his defense! Machop is done with these games, however and gives Arualia one, quick Low Sweep with his leg, lowering her speed a bit.

Finally! Damage is dealt!

Arualia actually attacks this turn with a Force Palm full of paralysing energy! Machop bends over in pain, it seems that Arualia's palm hit the perfect spot, affecting Machop's Chakra flow and Paralysing him! Machop manages to still make a move though and dishes his Revenge out against Arualia. This revenge is extra powerful due to his outstanding Guts being activated!

Let's see the battlers...

Master Bane, Go!

Excellent Machop, you might actually win this!

Start off with a Low Sweep and follow up with a Close Combat! Finish with another Bulk Up.

If he uses any damaging move, replace that action with a revenge, unless that would cause you to use Revenge 2 or three times in a row. (for example, Revenge, CC, Revenge if he attacks 3 times)

Is this it, folks? Can Machop end it here, or will Lyris be able to pull an underdog's vicory and take him and Bane's next Pokemon out? Probably not.
Arualia should be going first, but something's amiss... She's just standing there... Machop takes this opportunity and strikes out with one of his hands in a Low Sweep at Arualia's ankles! But all this time stalling, Arualia was working up a Counter to reflect Machop's damage back at him!

That last blow really sent Machop reeling! How much longer can he hold out?

Machop goes first again, this time knowing fully what this means, but against his intuition, his Trainer orders him to do a last-ditch Close Combat attack. Machop put his all into this attack, but when the dust clears, Arualia still stands and her Counter aura reflects all that damage back at Machop, KO'ing him.

Let's see the combatant's now!

It seems that this match is winding to a close with Bane sending out his final Pokemon, Hell Hound (that Bane graciously provided information for above), against Lyris' battered Arualia.

Hell Hound moves first this round and let's loose an incredibly powerful Fire Blast! This shimmering star of flame flies true and hits Arualia dead-on. As the smoke clears, Arualia is still standing... for about three seconds, then she falls over, unconscious. Arualia is KO'd! Lyris is out of usable Pokemon!

Master Bane is the winner of this match!
