4v4 Doubles UU combines Smogon's tiering system and policies with VGC's unique format rules. This means a metagame without frustrating Pokemon like Urshifu and Raging Bolt, but also means a metagame without glue like Incineroar and Rillaboom.The Banned Pokemon are in the following image. Evasion Moves, Bright Powder, Commander, and Urshifu are notably community banned from every 4v4 Doubles UU format, as they bring the most overpowered and uncompetitive strategies in a doubles metagame.

- Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize.
- Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
- Item Clause: Players cannot have two of the same item on the same team
- Matches will be played at Level 50
